Evaluation of Wheels for Excessive Corrosion under Five-Year Limited Warranty This Technical Bulletin (“TB”) refers to and supplements Maxion Wheels’ Five-Year Limited Warranty F- 152F (07/01/16) applicable to the original MaxCoat TM Extra powder-coat finish on hub-piloted single and wide-base tubeless disc wheels. The purpose of this TB is to provide pictorial guidance for determining the presence of excessive corrosion covered by the limited warranty. “Excessive corrosion” occurring during the warranty period is defined as a significant accumulation of rust corrosion which detracts from the overall wheel appearance thus requiring refinishing. The presence or absence of excessive corrosion will be determined by Maxion Wheels. The following photographs display examples of “excessive corrosion” conditions warranted by Maxion Wheels:
