Much to our delight some of our Brit boys have movies that will be presented at a couple festivals. First up, we have the Toronto International Film Festival, better known as simply TIFF, which announced its Gala and Special Screenings on July 23rd. As expected, Robert’s MAPS TO THE STARS was selected for one of the GALA slots. TBP at Fall Film Festivals! Bobby Reaches 100% and More! As of the writing of this newsletter Bobby Long’s campaign was at 110%. That is simply amazing. If you haven't yet pledged you can still do so until August 14th. What we have learned is that everything above the original goal of 100% will go towards touring, album promotion We also found out that Andrew’s film 99 HOMES was selected for one of the Special Screenings. Congratulations guys! TIFF has many more titles to announce so we will keep a look out for more films. In particular, Rob’s QUEEN OF THE DESERT and Tom’s FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD The next day, July 24th, the Venice Film Festival announced its selections. While Robert nor Tom had films selected, Andrew did. His movie 99 HOMES was chosen as one of the films in competition. The other festivals that may include movies by TBP include Telluride Film Festival (they will announce their lineup at the end of Aug), the New York Film Festival (line up available mid Aug), London Film Festival (line up available mid Sept) and the American Film Institute (lineup available mid Oct). Bobby has had another eventful month. For starters his pledge campaign for his third album is now fully funded. Please see the story on the front page for more information on that.
We were also lucky to get several amazing videos by Bobby. Some we can’t link because the only way to have access to them is by making a pledge towards the campaign. It’s a perk of pledging!
One very cool thing he did this month was perform for the Yellow Couch Sessions.

It was a wonderful month for us Marcus fans as we got a lot of special treats leading up to Marcus’ show at the Somersault Festival.
First off, on July 4th he announced on Facebook that he was starting work on his new EP. How wonderful is that Marcus fans??
Then on July 10th Marcus posted a video where he performed for a Breakdown Session leading up to the festival. It was amazing.

Then came the festival. Marcus performed on July 18th and as promised sang a lot of NEW music that everyone loved.
Then on July 19th he and other Communion artists performed a surprise session for the organization Surfer’s Against Sewage
which is an environmental charity protecting the UK Oceans.
As if that wasn’t enough he also did another session for the SAS group on July 20th. It seems that Marcus had a great time. I bet he misses performing as much as we miss seeing him perform.

Sam Bradley has continued to work on his upcoming album and based on some of his recent posts on Facebook he is nearly done.

Lee informed his fans on a Facebook status, July 1st, that he has been busy working on the video for the second single from his forthcoming debut album, which as you recall is due out by the end of this year!
He also let us know that he has taken time off this summer to work on new material for his second album. He indicated that he would most likely premiere some of these new songs at his upcoming shows.

My time here in this beautiful city is almost
done. Off on an adventure with my album in hand,
working towards the next step of my career.
Finally, on July 31st he let us know that he was preparing two tracks to take to London for Industry people to listen to.
We are so very excited to hear about the progress of the album. We know that Sam has worked extremely hard to make this happen and we at TBP are behind him 100%
Knock ‘em dead Sam! (okay, maybe not dead dead cause then we might not hear the album…LOL)
In addition, he advised fans that he was planning on keeping a low profile until the start of his next tour. Although, he did joke about performing at weddings, for free cake, none the less. Hey, that works too!
Finally, he indicated that he may also upload some new Moonlight Sessions. That would be great for all of us.
Lee continues to do some private shows, primarily in Germany. He has also
recently announced that he will be playing a full show at Yamm in Wien, Austria on Saturday August 9th. It apparently is a free show which is really nice. You can get more information about the show HERE:

Although there is no new filming news for Johnny we have found that his music is really picking up.
He is scheduled to attend the Cambridge Folk Festival on Aug 1st (by the time you read this it will have happened). Johnny and his band also recently performed at the Curious Arts Festival on July 18th in Hampshire.

So it looks like we will be getting some new music from Johnny very soon.
As of right now SONG ONE has not been selected for any of the film festivals that have announced so far. IMDb has no further release dates listed either. We will keep an eye on it and when something happens we will be sure to post the details for everyone to see.
Upcoming TBP Movie Releases
Word was out this past month that Andrew’s third Amazing Spiderman film was pushed back to 2018 which may not be a bad thing as it will free him up to do some other movies in between.
Speaking of which, there has been movement on a film that Andrew was linked to in 2013 called SILENCE. At this time Paramount is in talks to buy the distribution rights for it.

Martin Scorsese, SILENCE stars Liam Neeson, Andrew Garfield, Adam Driver, and Ken Watanabe. It’s story is based on the novel of the same name by Shûsaku Endô. Here is the summary for SILENCE:
In the seventeenth century, two Jesuit priests face
violence and persecution when they travel to Japan to locate their mentor and
to spread the gospel of Christianity.
According to Production Weekly, the film is set to
start filming in Taipei in November 2014. It is expected that this will be released sometime in 2015.

This sounds like another interesting project. Glad to see that Andrew is continuing to film in between his big franchise.
We would also like to say a hearty congratulations to Andrew. His movie 99 HOMES was selected for both the TIFF and the Venice Film Festival. Way to go Andrew!
alongside Robert Pattinson and has recently helped Bobby Long with his current Pledge Campaign. He took the picture that Bobby used for the t-shirts people could pledge on.
We have often seen Jamie out and about with various members of TBP but he is busy himself.
Jamie has walked runway shows for Gucci, Calvin Klein and Versace and starred in ad campaigns for Calvin Klein One, Hugo Boss and Tommy Hilfiger. His latest ad campaign is
for Club Monaco’s 2014 Spring/Summer catalog.
His one acting credit was for a 2012 short film called ALL IN where one of his co-stars was Brady Corbet. Corbet as you may recall will be directing Robert in the film he also wrote called the CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER.
Jamie is currently living in New York and is dating Dakota Fanning (Twilight Saga). He can often be found supporting various TBP members when they play in the New York Area.
