The large owners’ stateroom is located forward of the mast bulkhead with a queen sized bed. Two guest suites are integrated in the aft section. Each of the staterooms and suites have their own bathroom and shower.

Bontekoning’s spacious wheelhouse offers an elegant and efficient U-shaped dining area with superb views and also houses a modern fully-equipped navigation station. In addition to a large open plan lounge, further relaxation options are available at deck level in the aft cockpit.

General

TC78 Bontekoning is a true beauty offering the comfort and luxury of modern amenities. With her lovely flush deck of teak, long overhangs, and remarkably pratical wheel house, Bontekoning is the epitome of a highly customized Truly Classic. Being one of the family of three, this Truly Classic 78 is based upon the concept of the TC 65 and TC 75 with significantly more volume and a larger tank capacity. Another distinctive feature of this version is the separate engine room with full head room, enhancing the comfort on long ocean voyages. This family cruiser is designed for shallow waters, with a draft of just 8.53 feet (2.60 meters). Bontekoning is designed to be handled by two persons, thanks to the hydraulic in-mast furling system, powered sheet winches, furls on the headsails and the hydraulic bowthruster. In 2010 Bontekoning underwent an extensive and thorough maintenance program. The hull has been re-spray-painted racing Green, all the woodwork on deck has been varnished and the sails and batteries are new.
