Patrick  Fitzmaurice  Patrick  Fitzmaurice  is  a  member  of  the  UGA  Class  of  2012,  comple[ng  undergraduate  degrees  in  Economics  (BBA)  and  Interna[onal  Affairs  (AB),  as  well  as  a  Masters  degree  in  Economics.    As  a  Founda[on  Fellow,  he  has  traveled  to  Oxford,  Berlin  and  Costa  Rica,  and  has  completed  a  semester  of  study  at  the  London  School  of  Economics.  Patrick  has  been  ac[ve  across  the  UGA  campus,  with  key  ac[vi[es  and  memberships  including  the  Leonard  Leadership  Scholars  Program,  President  of  UGA  MathCounts  Outreach,  Treasurer  for  UGA  Model  United  Na[ons,  Sports  Communica[ons  Intern  for  UGA  Athle[cs  Department,  and  member  of  Blue  Key  Honor  Society  and  Corsair  Society.  This  summer  Patrick  will  intern  with  Morgan  Stanley’s  New  York  Ins[tu[onal  Equi[es  department,  and  hopes  to  begin  his  career  in  trading  there  full-­‐[me  upon  gradua[on  in  May  2012.

Stephanie  Chapman  

Stephanie  Chapman  is  a  senior  Founda[on  Fellow  studying  math  and  economics  at  UGA,  gradua[ng  in  May  2011.    While  at  UGA  she  has  served  as  an  officer  for  the  Math  Club  and  the  UGA  Synchronized  Swimming  Club  Team,  as  well  as  serving  in  the  Athens  community  with  the  Girl  Scouts  and  as  a  part  of  UGA  MathCounts  outreach,  both  at  Clarke  Middle  School.    She  has  earned  awards  for    excellence  in  both  math  (John  G.  Hollingsworth  undergraduate  math  award)  and  economics  (Terry  excellence  award  for  outstanding  achievement  in  economics).    A_er  gradua[on  she  plans  to  pursue  a  PhD  in  economics  at…

David  Malison  David  Malison  graduated  Phi  Beta  Kappa  and  Summa  Cum  Laude  with  First  Honors  in  May  2010,  majoring  in  biochemistry  and  economics.  He  was  recognized  as  the  2010  Outstanding  Honors  Student  in  the  Social  Sciences  for  his  contribu[ons  to  economics  and  his  senior  thesis  was  recognized  as  the  Best  Paper  with  Civic  Implica[ons  from  UGA's  Center  for  Undergraduate  Research  Opportuni[es.  He  is  currently  earning  his  masters  degree  in  economics,  and  has  been  accepted  into  Emory  Medical  School  and  the  economics  PhD  program  at  the  University  of  Chicago.  A_er  gradua[ng  from  UGA  in  May,  he  plans  to  pursue  both  degrees  with  the  goal  of  combining  the  tools  of  economics  and  clinical  research  to  study  pa[ent  behavior  and  contribute  to  healthcare  policy.  Outside  of  class  he  volunteers  weekly  at  Mercy  Health  Center,  a  local  clinic  that  provides  free  care  to  uninsured  pa[ents  in  the  Athens  area.

Day  with  Terry  Alumni  Friday,  April  8,  2011  

First-­‐[me  event  held  in  conjunc[on  with  the    New  Student  Welcome.    The  Day  with  Terry  Alumni  provided  two  sessions  for  alums  to  be  on  campus  for  one-­‐on-­‐one  interac[on  with  students  to  discuss  their  industry,  provide  career  guidance,  cri[que  résumés,  and  answer  ques[ons.    60  students  par[cipated  and  25  alumni  were  on  hand    to  welcome  them  to  the  College!

AB  &  YAB  Ini[a[ves  •  Placement  –  Both  Boards  con[nue  to  support  undergraduates  and  

MBAs  by  serving  as  Terry  Champions  within  their  respec[ve  companies  and  organiza[ons  to  provide  hiring  opportuni[es  and  internships  for  Terry  students.  

•  Mentoring  –  Both  Boards  serve  as  mentors  to  Terry  students  providing  a  professional  sounding  board  to  balance  their  academic  experience.    

•  Outreach  –  Both  Boards  con[nue  to  engage  Terry  alumni  here  in  the  state  of  Georgia  and  through  our  Regional  Networks,  building    na[onal  pres[ge  and  suppor[ng  Terry  graduates  wherever  they  may  be.
