The Prime Minister will also address the gathering on the occasion. The dedication ceremony shall also be punctuated by flypast of IAF PM to dedicate ‘Statue of Unity’ to the Nation today aircraft and performances of cultural troupes. Shri Modi will also inaugurate the Wall of Unity. At the feet of the Statue of Unity, the Prime Minister will perform a special prayer. He also said the Centre has a plan to invest in Inland Waterways in Kerala. He lauded the contributions of Cochin Shipyard in the field of skill training in ship building. Now, the Transport Department, under the A&N Administration has decided to make more fancy registration numbers available to the motor vehicle owners. In this regard, from Nov 5, 2018 onwards, not only the single digit registration numbers of current series will be available for reservation but also the fancy registration numbers of two subsequent series will be made available for reservation by paying Transport Deptt. to allot fancy registration numbers Vehicle owners may reserve such numbers by paying additional fees some additional fees. In case of more applications for a particular registration number is received, the highest bidder among the applicants will be allotted the registration number.
