PRESENTATION

Research has shown that burnout is affecting just over half of New Zealand’s senior medical officers. Rising expectations from patients, employers and other agencies in an environment of resource constraint only increases the risk of physician burnout. This session will look at internal factors that put some of us at higher risk of burnout and provide you with some keys to build your resilience.

PRESENTATION

The session will be 3 hours and will cover the following topics:• Creating a culture for learning• Feedback and performance• Feedback in challenging situations

We encourage anyone who is currently serving as a supervisor, new to supervision, and those who have not previously attended a supervisor workshop, to attend. Attendance at this session can be counted towards your myCPD program.
