Description:
Travel a world away. Make a world of difference. Teach in Bhutan.Live and teach in the Kingdom of Bhutan, a secluded and mystical country, virtually untouched by the modern world. Develop new teaching techniques, share expertise with local teachers and steep yourself in the concept and practice of Gross National Happiness, all while exploring an authentic Himalayan culture. This is a rare chance to work in an education system that is in the midst of an exciting and innovative transformation, as Bhutan's Ministry of Education works to transition to a more interactive, thoughtful and participatory system of education.

Questions?We know you have some…

Page 15: Teach in bhutan 2012

Where will I be teaching? There are a variety of placements available for teaching

postings. These consist of urban and rural placements. Rural placements can be very remote, sometimes a one to two day walk to the main road,

and may not have modern conveniences such as running water and electricity. These remote locations

are very community-minded and are the most welcoming of areas.
