response Edit

why are bringing up inertial and non-inertial reference frames here? I think it is a misunderstanding on your part, would you like to talk? 732 514 **** - any time. Please do not use these terms with the students, you are confusing inertial and non-inertial frames with moving and non-moving.Eugenia at 1/25/2008 11:17 AM

Just when you think it's safe to teach physics... Edit

yeah you are absolutely right. I just looked up the words and you are absolutely right. I don't know why I over generalized the words. I talk to the students monday. I completely understand the idea but connected the wrong terminology. I guess I was thinking inertia = motion.... etc. thanks for your note. more info to come.PAER\jamesf at 1/25/2008 1:37 PM
