Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathema�cs (STEM) are the four pillars upon which developed countries are built on. In the 21st century, scien�fic and technological innova�ons have become increasingly important as we face the benefits and challenges of both globaliza�on and a knowledge-based economy. To contribute to this new informa�on-based and highly technologically advanced world, our young ones need to develop their capabili�es in STEM to levels much beyond what was considered acceptable in the past. Unfortunately, Nigeria is s�ll lagging behind technologically, impor�ng almost every tech and non-tech products that we consume as well as lacking in skills to maintain what we deploy.
In response to the need to s�mulate tech innova�ons (idea�on, crea�on, coding, inven�on and prototyping) in our young people, we are hos�ng the second edi�on of Young Inventors Tech Expo 2017. To achieve this goal, we are seeking your sponsorship and support for this event.
This year, we are crea�ng a pla�orm where about 1,000 tech savvy and curious par�cipants of our Young Inventors Summer Camp 2017 and other invited Youngsters will showcase their amazing tech projects and prototypes to their parents, guardians, teachers, school owners, friends, tech community, special guests, entrepreneurs and the public at our “Young Inventors Tech Expo 2017” holding on September 1, 2017 at Muson Center, Lagos.

Center4Tech (a division of Miu Research Limited) is an organiza�on dedicated to inspiring and equipping the next genera�on of leaders in STEM fields to become Scien�st, Engineers, Inventors and Entrepreneurs with the hope that they will become a genera�on of Inventors who will startup inven�on and tech-based enterprises thereby crea�ng jobs for themselves and others, and ul�mately reducing poverty and unemployment in our country and our con�nent.
About 4 years ago, we launched our specialized STEM and Coding summer camp tagged “Young Inventors Summer Camp”, where we train youngsters age 8 - 17 on 21st century hands-on tech skills including Electronics Circuit Design & Coding, Mobile Games Design & Coding, 3D Anima�on, Drone Programming, Web Design & Coding. This year we added the Tech Explorer category for ages 5-6. Today, Young Inventors Summer Camp is Nigeria's #1 STEM, Technology & Coding training summer camp for youngsters!

Last year, the maiden edi�on of Young Inventors Tech Expo 2016 was held in our office on August 26, 2016. Students from Young Inventors Summer Camp 2016 showcased their designs and projects to their parents and friends. This year this event will be bigger with a wider audience. The Young Inventors Tech Expo 2017 is a one-day event designed to bring together students from various primary and secondary schools across the country to showcase their tech ingenuity and inven�ons to the public under the Young Inventors Tech Expo Pla�orm while wining prizes from our supporters and sponsors.
The aim of this expo is to support African children to innovate by catching them young!
At the Young Inventors Tech Expo 2017, our young ones drawn from primary and secondary schools around the country and par�cipants of our one-month Young Inventors Summer Camp 2017 will showcase and exhibit tech projects, tech solu�ons and their original inven�ons. They will also have the opportunity to tell the audience how they built their innova�ons and what inspired them.
