THE ROLE OF THE TECH FELLOW
• Assist faculty one-on-one (in person, email, phone, chat, web conferencing) (Moodle, Google Apps, Mahara, Alfresco, Adobe Connect, Second Life, Qualtrics, the SmartBoard, etc.)
• Run orientation sessions and workshops • Test new tools and upgrades• Produce online and off-line help documentation (handouts,
videos, websites) • Manage “Techfellowhelp” shared mailbox and maintain
twitter postings • Present best practices at Faculty Tech Dialogues and various
events

HOW THE TECH FELLOWS ARE RECRUITED
Criteria :
• Technical abilities, knowledge of security policies, • Teaching or mentoring experience • Good interpersonal and communication skills• Flexible schedule – (2 semesters)• Team workers, problem solvers • Self-directed learners, • Respect deadlines, reliable, proactive, take
initiative, not afraid of making mistakes, can resolve conflicts, accept criticism, and are able to cope with stress
