Lighting
• Lighting creates mood and atmosphere and identifies the genre.
• High key – because it’s an action scene and you want to see all the details.
• Natural light – because they’re outside so there’s no key light, filler light or back light needed.
• Low contrast – it’s a natural setting so there’s not many different colours.
Type of shot
• Point of view – shows the audience what one of the characters is seeing.
• Long shot – full body shot and shows lots of background on display, shows location.
• Establishing shot – sets the scene and is generally at the beginning of films.
• Deep focus shot – looks at all details in the shot.
Proxemics
• Close together as they’re fighting – shows their relationship.
