OBJECTIVESThe conference will focus on improvinghealth, safety and the environmentalimpact in the mining and metallurgyindustry and highlight actions to be taken.It will act as a platform for learning andallow people to share ideas on safety,health and the environment as well aslocal communities relationship (issues).

This conference aims to bring togethermanagement, DMR, Chamber of Mines,Unions and health and safety practitionersat all levels from the industry to sharebest practice and successful strategies forzero harm and a value-based approach tohealth and safety. It will address the mainchallenges in the mining industry such aslogistics, energy and safety of employees,contractors and the communities.
