SpartaMax SGO-758 BioCLP is a completed hi-performance proprietary formulation Created with current - modern 21st Century materials; each main chemical material area (base oil, additives & rust protection etc.) was selected for need to fulfill either one or all of the following basic requirements: a) Environmental safe, biodegradable, user (worker safe) non-hazardous, non-dangerous good.

U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) defines a Biobased product as a commercial or industrial product, an intermediate ingredient, or feed stock that is composed, in whole or in significant part, of biological products including renewable domestic agricultural materials and forestry materials.
Biodegradability, technical grade structure, material cleanliness along with short and long term reactivity to land, water and air is noted as a key factor(s) by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and other related agencies at the local, state, region, national and international levels (collectively) determine if chemical material is to be considered as “environmentally acceptable”

CAUSE (creating the problem or what you do not need to happen):
a) Use of a common weapon CLP product that does not effectively deep cleaning of carbon, contamination
from the pores of the metal alloys (Steel, Aluminum, Brass, Copper, Lead etc.) or plastic surface(s).
b) Use of a common weapon CLP product that does not PROVIDE carbon, contamination MANAGEMENT from
the pores of the metal alloys (Steel, Aluminum, Brass, Copper, Lead etc.) or plastic surface(s).
c) Use of a common CLP product that either creates or allows an insulation coating (either by carbon
contamination from use or by the CLP product use / coating itself such as Teflon, Silicon or Natural mint
coating etc.; (that will hold heat and not allow heat dissipation during weapon operation & use);
WHY? – Insulation or coating upon weapon surfaces & components does not provide cooler operations:
1) Some common CLP Products create a heat soak (insulation) not allowing heat rejection or dissipation.
2) Coating of carbon & contamination direct upon metal surfaces (barrel bore, slide areas & moving components)
NOTE: Science of metallurgy (metal surface performance) cannot be forsaken:
a) LACK OF heat reaction or heat dissipation management will cause increased: friction, slowing of
performance; increased metal surface embrittlement shall reduce component durability & life cycle operation.
b) SURFACE HEAT REJECTION & HEAT DISSIPATION MANAGEMENT PROVIDES: performance
repeatability; DECREASES friction & surface embrittlement; INCREASING durability & life cycle duty.

GOALS ACCOMPLISHED WITH THE USE OF SPARTAMAX GUN OIL BioCLP & BioRBC PRODUCTS;
Start with a modern design BioBased oxygenated solvent (Natural) material.
1) Advanced BioBased Industrial product formulation with the highest Kb Kauri-butanol
solvent power rating: Base Material must be an is an OXYGENATED CARBON KILLER.
KEY #1 overall carbon, contamination & powder management – not only for initial cleansing &
maintenance; yet most effective during extreme duty operations.
MOST IMPORTANT: worker safe - during product use (proper industrial hygiene practice while cleaning).
KEY #2 during weapon operations – (contrary to standard practice) – other than certain pistol fire pin areas;
you are allowed and encouraged to keep or provide a coating of the SGO-MP product upon the slide and
component areas. WHY? Reason is that we cannot simply make the carbon & powder “ disappear”
but we can manage powder contamination – when the carbon / powder comes in contact with SGO-BioCLP –
the High Kb rated Bio Solvent naturally breaks up and dissipates the carbon & contaminate. Further allowing
SGO-BioCLP to act as a long life hi-performance product - Unlike before with standard CLP products – the
CLP would become overwhelmed by the carbon and heat; then break down the oil to sticky varnish mess.
2) KEY #3 hi-performance lubricant: aerospace – cleanliness engineered formulation: tough, light weight
product providing viscosity stabilization (will not break down), anti-wear, friction & heat reduction properties.
3) KEY #4 capability to greatly reduce heat & static during the weapon operation;
(movement between two dissimilar metals etc. with friction action causing electrical charge).
Static will promote the attachment of carbon – followed by copper then lead etc. you need to manage this.
SGO- BioCLP w/ proprietary formulation greatly reduces (almost eliminates) static – which reduces allotment
of remaining carbon; carbon either leaving (pulled) w/ vacuum of bullet (ball) or being pushed out by next
bullet (ball); increases barrel bore efficiency, feet per second and smaller target grouping.
QUALFIED HEAT DISSIPATION & REDUCTION with OVERALL COOLER WEAPON OPERATIONS:
Scientific fact: CARBON, GRAPHITE, MOLY, TEFLON & BARIUM IS AN INSULATOR, HOLD HEAT
(INCREASES HEAT SOAK) (less carbon = less heat). Manage carbon & contamination; you increase to
increase Heat Transfer efficiency.
Explained: When micron metal pores & fishers (cracks) are cold they are closed, when hot metal opens; if
the carbon & contaminates are not managed, the carbon (like a magnet + / -) is naturally polarized and drawn
into the metal pores (basic component of steel & moly is carbon).
When the metal becomes cold the metal pore closes and traps the carbon in the metal; further increasing
metal surface embrittlement – along with all the problems of holding heat etc.
With qualified heat dissipation performance during weapon operations and use; metal surfaces have
the improved ability to return itself back to a cooler and manageable state (in a shorter period of time).

GOAL: NOT ALLOW CARBON TO EMBED INTO THE METAL SURFACE (BARREL BORE, SLIDES
FIRE PIN OR MECHANICAL COMPONENTS) THROUGH CHEMICAL FORMULATION MANAGEMENT.
Goal is Not to allow the carbon etc. (stay in solvent/lubricant suspension or reduce static to move along)
during the operation of the weapon (while it is hot) not to allow the carbon etc. to get into the micron metal
pores and cracks to be held causing heat. When carbon & contaminates get into metal it is very tough to
scrub the carbon & contaminates out
Therefore; when you manage to reduce static along with the amounts of carbon & contaminates upon the
surfaces many of these problems are greatly reduces and eliminated.
SpartaMax Gun Oil products provide carbon & contamination management; (reasons stated) within the barrel
bore, slide, fire chamber operations including moving component parts; weapon platform shall operate
cleaner, efficient and cooler.
Further, we encourage the option to allow the surfaces of the slide areas and mechanical components to
remain slightly wet with a light film upon the surface (unless extreme dirt / dust conditions); reason for this;
when the carbon & contaminates come in contact with the oxygenated solvent & lubricant; the carbon is
dissipated & held in suspension; carbon & contaminates is managed to reduce the ability to dry upon surface.
One of the reasons this can take place; SGO BioCLP formulation naturally has a high solvent (Kb) Kauri-
butanol rating) & anti-carbon capability (up to 5Xs+ Kb solvent performance than common CLP products).
Common CLP or lubrication products during weapon operation use; when carbon etc. with heat and friction
etc. come in contact with common CLP; carbon and contaminates (without qualified solvent capability) would
overwhelmed common CLP and breakdown the CLP / lubricant product to its basic state of sulfur – forcing the
common CLP to change (plasticize) into a sticky varnish; along with the carbon and contaminates.
With SGO; chemical breakdown from carbon & contaminates is greatly reduced & almost eliminated.
SGO- (BioCLP) & SGO-RBC (Bio Rifle Bore Cleaner) products are Environmental Friendly; Non-Hazardous
and Non-Dangerous Good, regarding MSDS, State, Federal or International etc. SGO products are
considered “non-reportable”.
SGO- BioCLP FORMUATION PRODUCT GENERAL CLARIFICATION
SGO- BioCLP – Clean Lube Protection product is a multi-design use product (14-16cSt @40C) as
generally specified under Military specification performance (addressed later) within the formulation the
purpose is to have (3) three roles of function:
Common - Daily Cleaning and Maintenance procedures;
Lubrication duties to work during the function of the weapon;
Metal surface protection against humidity & salt corrosion etc. during use and storage conditions.

PART TWO – COMPARISON OVERVIEW:
OVERVIEW SGO-MP BioCLP vs. common Synthetic CLP products:
In the world of chemistry formulation and application engineering we need a general understanding:
a) If a product works to the specification and qualification performance to which is was designed (Military or
OEM Specification etc.) that is fine and the product works to the requested business model and requirement.
b) If any company (SpartaMax Products) reviews that certain specification ( example CLP military specification );
then through engineering decision with performance test and evaluation; creates a product which fulfills
additional operational needs beyond the original OEM or Military specification; then it fulfills a different model.
c) One product (A or B) is not better than the other – they are designed different to the need and specification.
Choice #1 is common CLP: need is for a weapon lubricant product with the need for Anti-Rust and salt
Corrosion prevention with acceptable Lubrication - Cleaning performance and small percentage of Bio Base
content, with a possible used of 10%+ chemistry as stated within the MSDS as hazardous to human touch in
order to conduct the salt corrosion prevention duties (Calcium Alkylnaphthalene Sulfonate CAS 57855-77-3)
or other related type of chemistries then QPL CLP MIL-PRF-63460(E) will work to that need.
Unless specified – most (if not all) - Calcium Alkylnaphthalene Sulfonate products designed for rust protection
include Barium ( up to 7%) – barium has a couple problems – a) Barium provides a coating within the barrel
and components which actually increases carbon attraction creating a multiplied mess – when product gets to
200F. b) ( when over the EPA daily exposure guidelines of 10 ppm) Barium in human health and safety
creates problems with the nervous system including but not limited to: Muscle disorders, dysfunction
with human nervous system as the Barium is a natural dialectic – increasing and disrupting the electrical flow
within the human body.
Choice #2 is advanced SGO- BioCLP: product which does not require a high level of salt corrosion capability
for theater of operations where sea salt is an issue (does have common humidity & storage protection):
The choice would be for a CLP product which has the focus not only for qualified cleaning and lubrication during
the maintenance event of the weapon; but worker & user safety with a hi percentage of bio-based content
chemistry; without containing common used hazardous materials;
BioCLP product that is designed for hi-performance during weapon functions and operations - equal to current MIL-PRF-63460(E) (including the ability addition to help control carbon and contamination management,
Improve FPS (feet per second); barrel bore efficiency and cooler component temperature as compared to other
products, for overall weapon performance repeatability. (FPS Historic Average Improvement = 3% to 5%)
Choice #2 BioCLP is the consideration for the use of a CLP product without hazardous chemical materials;
allowing improved use and worker personal safety with environmental friendliness and facility non reportability.
