The opening and closing of the doorset can be operated remotely when used in conjunction with a motorised door actuator. Mechanical overide providing panic and emergency means of escape to BSEN 179/1125 is available. Surelock McGill have developed and manufacture a range of high performance cylinder guards designed to provide protection of the cylinder against various levels of physical attack.

The cylinder guards have been tested to the latest LPS 1175 standards, meeting security levels from SR2 – SR6. These guards are manufactured to suit doors between 40mm and 80mm thick.

The design enables the guard to accept either a Euro-profile, Scandinavian oval, or round rim cylinder, it will accommodate the majority of commercially available cylinders. The cylinder guard has 6No. M8 fixings offering maximum security.
