TESDA Mandate
It is hereby declared the policy of the State to providerelevant, accessible, high quality and efficient, technicaleducation and skills development in support of the developmentof high quality Filipino middle‐level manpower responsive to andin accordance with Philippine development goals and priorities.
The State shall encourage active participation of variousconcerned sectors, particularly private enterprises, being thedirect participants in and immediate beneficiaries of a trainedand skilled workforce, in providing technical education andskills development opportunities.(Section 2, R.A. 7796)
