The Following Works are to be Done in the Main Base Center all kinds of the maintenance schedule

current repairs

replacement of the aggregates

modifications and upgrades of the helicopters

practical training of the personnel

technical support of the remote helicopter land-based stations (supply of the

spares, technical consultations, snags rectification etc. The Following is to be Done in the Remote Helicopter Land-Based

Stations: operational maintenance of the helicopters

replacement of the aggregates

snags rectification


MAIN SERVICE CENTER FOR MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR.

Main Center can be of the Three Levels: Level 1: All kinds of helicopters’ maintenance and current repair. Level 2: All kinds of helicopters’ maintenance, current repair and repair of airframes & systems. Level 3: All kinds of helicopters’ maintenance, current repair and overhaul.


MAINTENANCE AND CURRENT REPAIR (1 Level)

The following kinds of the maintenance and current repair are carried out in the Service Center of Level 1:

Operational maintenance

Periodic maintenance: - after 50 flight hrs - after 100 flight hrs - after 200 flight hrs - after 300 flight hrs - lubrication works

Special maintenance.

Helicopter maintenance when on ground.

Seasonal maintenance.

Current repair of the helicopter.




A. Buildings and Communications

Required:

Manufacturing facilities of total square of 2700 m2 including:

- hangar: 1300 m2

- manufacturing area: 1000 m2

- warehouses: 140 m2

- depot rooms: 260 m2

Power Supply: - 220V, 380V and 50 Hz frequency, 208V and 400 Hz AC

electric power, - 27V DC electric power for each working place in laboratory - 36V and 400 Hz frequency, 3-phase

Ventilation and air conditioning system

Compressed air line: 4 … 6 atm

Cold and hot water line with pressure: 2 .. 4 atm



B. Necessary area and Laboratories: - area to maintain radio equipment - area to maintain avionics - diagnostic laboratory - complete room - spare parts storage room - batteries charging and service room - rest rooms - laboratory of ultrasonic cleaning of filters - extinguishers’ repair and gas loading room - tools room - metal work workshop - area to service engines

MAINTENANCE , CURRENT REPAIR AND REPAIR OF AIRFRAMES & SYSTEMS (Level 2)

Service Center of Level 2 is Designated for:

- repair of fuselage elements

- repair of the detachables

- repair of the controls

- repair of pipelines

- repair of MR and TR blades

- repair of fuel tanks

- extinguishers repair

- repair of armament elements

- repair of electric circuits

- communication devices repair

- repair of radio equipment

- assembly & tests of the helicopters after repair




A. Auxiliary buildings and communications

Hangar for repair of the airframe & systems: 2000 m2

Hangar for washing & paint peeling: 450 m2

Hangar for painting helicopters: 450 m2

B. Additional working places for repair

- the detachables repair area - radio equipment repair area - avionics repair area - metal works area - control units repair area - rotor blades repair area - pipelines repair area - fuel tanks repair area - cables repair area



MAINTENANCE, CURRENT REPAIR AND OVERHAUL (Level 3)

Main works to be done in Service Center of Level 3: - overhaul of the fuselage and removable equipment - repair of the pipelines - repair of controls and chassis - repair of aggregates of the helicopter systems - electric equipment repair - radio equipment repair - repair of avionics - repair of special equipment - assembling of the helicopter, adjustment - helicopter painting - ground and flight test of the helicopter after overhaul




A. Additional buildings and constructions - hangar for repair of the helicopter aggregates: 2500 м2 - hangar for testing aggregates after repair: 800m2 - specially equipped zone for maintenance and tests of the

helicopters after repair.



B. Additional areas and Laboratories - metrological laboratory - transmission repair area - electroplating area - machining works area - area for repair of the main rotor systems - aggregates’ test area - tail rotors repair area - area to repair cargo loading/ unloading equipment - area to repair rubberized fuel tanks - chemical laboratory



C. Equipment and tools - special equipment and tools - special devices and accessories - special test benches and test equipment



D. Overhaul publications - overhaul Manuals - overhaul Technologies - technological instructions - technical conditions - instructions - technological cards - reference Overhaul Manual - technical descriptions - service bulletins - spare parts and materials catalogue

PERSONNEL TRAINING


Permanent training & upgrade qualification of the personnel of various specialties are required for successful functioning of the service center.

The following stages are scheduled for personnel training :

-theoretic training in the Training Center

-practical training in the Training Center and in the work places

- apprenticeship in the service center

- certification of the personnel

PERSONNEL TRAINING


The following are required to train personnel:

- educational programs & books;

- software for teaching procedure;

- certified teachers & instructors.

Personnel training can be conducted in the specially

equipped classes of the service center or in the

Training Center equipped with special simulator.
