simple manner.

●But there are many other variants of technical writing.
Web Design
● Some technical writers create websites for clients.
● They help to describe the company’s ideas and products to different users.
● They also create help pages for the consumer.

Magazine Articles/Newsletters●Some technical writers will write for magazines companies.
●These writers create electronic and other scientific discovery articles.
●They help to transform the technical jargon to easier terms for the audience.
○ Sometimes the audience varies in age and knowledge and that is where technical writers are key.
Environmental Impact Statements
● Writers in this area help to describe the impacts certain human actions will create on the environment.
● These statements help create guidelines for when new laws are passed.
● They describe in detail actions that should be taken to help avoid large environmental problems. (Environmental Impact Statements)

Proposals ●Some jobs are to create proposals help show a company's vision to
clients or coworkers.
●They need to be able to accurately describe the benefits of the proposal.
○ This should help create a vision of the future for the reader.
Sales/Promotions
● Some technical writers work in retail to create documents for promoting sales. (Manzo)
● These documents should clearly state the terms of these sales or discounts to the consumer.
