If designed properly 1000 watt of tubelights and CFLs can be replaced by 400 watt LED lights for ahouse or a flat.

50000 to 60000 burning hours as compare to 5000 to 8000 burning hours of tubelights and CFLs. If in ahouse an LED light is used 5 hours daily it can give life of @ 25 years or more without reducing thelighting effect. After the span of 50000 hours only 20% light output is reduced. In case of tubelights orCFLs the light output gets reduced by more than 40% within a year or the bulb gets fused.

It can be replaced or repaired easily with very low cost.

The LED light operates in the range of 90 VAC to 280 VAC without flickering with full light output.

LED lights never get fused like conventional lights.

They have full recyclable material like aluminum and semiconductors.

Mercury is common material used in CFLs and tube lights which the people throw as waste after thelights blow causing harm to the environment.

LED are fully controllable with electronic dimmers.

Colourful ambience can be created with coloured LEDs very easily.
