Strand II. OverviewUse of Productivity Software Benchmark IIa Create and edit documents in Word 2007 or above demonstrating ability to perform each of the following:adjust margins,insert and format tables,set line spaces,format font,create tabs,add insert bulleted/numbered lists, add information to the header/footer,insert Word Art,change a hyperlink to regular text,and insert page numbers.Insert Page Numbers

To Insert Page Numbers

Click the Insert Tab at the Top of the screen. Then find the link that says Page Number. It is in the Header & Footer Section, directly below the option for footer.

Click on the Page Number link.

To Insert Page Numbers After clicking on Page Number, Several Options will Pop up for you to choose from. These Include: Top of PageBottom of Page Page Margins Current Position Format Page Numbers Remove Page Numbers Pick which you prefer. For this situation, Click the Top of Page Option.

To Insert Page Numbers

After clicking on Top of Page, a sample window will pop up. This demonstrates all the different options of numbers which can be inserted.

To align the numbers on the right, click Plain Number 3.

To Insert Page Numbers

After clicking Plain Number 3, the Page Number will have inserted itself, in a header, on the top right corner of the page.

A page Number Has Been Inserted!
