Technology Tour Task Statement

According to a recent report by the American Travel Company, prices for traveling will increase significantly in 2018. That means it will be harder for families to take really big trips. (formulate) One solution to this problem is to consider virtual trips using technology.

In order to do this, you need to learn about what culture is and what it means in different communities (clothing, sports, languages, celebrations, traditions, music, food, literature, art, religion) (exploring). You will also need to learn about some of the different ethnic groups that have settled in the United States and what contributions they have made to their communities. Finally, you will need to pick a region (sift) in the United States to share its cultural characteristics ( ideate). Make a presentation (simulate) to present to your peers to convince them to take a virtual trip to that region in North America! (advocate).
