Feedback from Away day
1. Data egress
› Zeroed for Amazon & Microsoft* (*up to 15% of cost and they work differently)
2. ExpressRoute
› Connection from Janet to Microsoft being commissioned
› First member pilots starting
› Still waiting for pricing package from Microsoft, should have good discounts
3. Premier Support
› Despite very clear messages, Microsoft have not listened, continued pressure from Russell Group would be useful.
4. iPass – good commercial offer (80% off list), but lack of firm commitment from the sector, leaves a financial risk.
Updates on progress

26/05/2016 Cost of Services Model
Cost of Services Model (CoSM) summary
A tool to support management decision making by giving a holistic view of organisational costs
The CoSM is based on the service catalogue
The CoSM uses estimates. The model is based on assumptions, which can be revised
The model always balances back to the Approved Budget
