La Eficiencia Energética se puede definir como el máximo apro-

vechamiento de energía manteniendo los mismos servicios energé-

ticos, sin disminuir nuestro confort y calidad de vida, protegiendo

el medio ambiente, asegurando el abastecimiento y fomentando

un comportamiento sostenible en su uso.

¿Que hace BENITO para preservar el medio ambiente?

· Diseño y fabricación de luminarias con un bajo índice FHS inst.

(Bajo nivel de contaminación lumínica) de acuerdo con los re-

quisitos impuestos por el Real Decreto 1890/08 sobre Eficiencia

Energética.

· Asesoramiento de nuestros clientes para minimizar consumos y

maximizar prestaciones lumínicas.

· Convenio con ECOLUM, SIG -Sistemas Integrados de Gestión- re-

ferente en iluminación, que tiene por principal objetivo el cuidado

y protección del medio ambiente a través de una estructura or-

ganizativa que responde a las necesidades de gestión de residuos

de luminarias, lámparas y equipos eléctricos asociados.

of energy while keeping up the same service, without diminishing

comfort or quality of life, protecting the environment, assuring

supply and fostering sustainable behaviour by its use.

What does BENITO do to care for the environment?

· We design and manufacture luminaires with a low inst. UFF rating

(i.e. a low level of light pollution) according to the requirements

imposed by Spanish Royal Decree 1890/08 of Energy Efficiency.

· We advise our customers on how to minimise consumption and

maximise lighting performance.

· We have an agreement with ECOLUM, SIG – integrated mana-

gement systems – for lighting, the main purpose of which is to

protect and care for the environment by means of an organisa-

tional structure which meets waste management requirements for

luminaires, lamps and the associated electrical systems.
