GoldNet Common Open Policy Server (GCOPS)Generally, all the basic service details like traffic limitations, connect/disconnect time, user BW, etc. which lets a user get online, are managed by AAA server.While AAA server is not usually capable of con-trolling more complex services or in higher levels, in order to cover all sorts of value-added services, GoldNet has deployed GoldNet Common Open Pol-icy Server. This server can replace an AAA server mutually to a new one to cover all the service bun-dling requirements of an operator.We can consider two distinct advantages of GoldNet GCOPS server compared with other products in this industry:

•This server can apply/change variant policies on a user while it’s online. There is no need to discon-nect the users if a service change is applied.

•Accounting can be performed for a subscriber with multiple services working simultaneously; if a user enjoys internet and wants to use his IPTV service at the same time, so he will be charged sep-arately for the service he is using at that moment.

Current version of GCOPS features:

1.Dynamic Service Gateway CRM. With this service, a subscriber can choose his service via CRM portal in real time.

GoldNet Open Service Access (GOSA)GoldNet Open Service Access (GOSA) is a software that provides the connection between Radius server and BRAS. This system accepts those ADSL users who are rejected by Radius server and redirects them to the network that has access to specific websites/ IP addresses such as banking payment portal and other free of charge services.This system is able to provide value-added and multi-rate services.This software reduces the traffic on the Radius and shows the user situation messages that reduces the load support as well.The advantages of this system:

•Facilitating service payments for users.•Sending notifications on service expiration. •Reducing user invalid requests in Radius server.•Reducing the volume of support.

Generalized Multi-Protocol Labeling Switch (GMPLS)Establishing secure and inexpensive links among offices of a company or an organization has always been a major concern for all the stakeholders of the business. Serial to GSM ConverterSerial to GSM Converter sends serial data over the GSM network and provides remote control and mon-itoring installed equipment from distant locations without any need to create a wired network platform.This converter creates a mutual PPP connection be-tween the host system and control equipment and the data is transmitted through this connection.The Modem uses GPRS service in order to create PPP connection over GSM network.The initiation of connection can be permanent or on demand.In this way, controlling and monitoring of the con-vertor will be possible with an Internet connection or a mobile communication network platform.This converter is very easy to set up, because the mo-dem automatically detects the serial data rate. When data transmission security is of high importance, it can be encoded.
