News Letter - November 2018 HOSPITAL:

Due to Diwali festival, the total number of surgeries were somewhat less than the previous months. But immediately after Diwali, the workload has picked up – the winter effect is seen and the temparatures are also within very comfortable

limits.

Mission for Vision team has done follow up of post operative patients in the field after six months. This is the routine they follow with each of their partners. The outcome data shows very positive findings, we are well within WHO criteria of

excellent outcome and we are happy to note the same. Quality of Life outcomes are showing some difficulties persisting post operatively. We have asked for the details of these patients to go back and cross check what is the reality. Probably

the patients may not have understood the question.

NETRAJYOTI TRAINING CENTRE:

Dr. Ankush Agrawal from Mumbai has joined two months SICS fellowship during the month. Dr. Roshni Patel from Surat has completed her phaco fellowship during the month.
