Introduction Telda Consult plc. is an innovative engineering office which was

formed to satisfy customer requirements for engineering design and

contract administration works. It strives to provide visionary designs,

innovative facilities, and buildings of distinction that reflect the

unique characteristics of both location and the people who use them.

From small residential houses to Multi-story complex buildings, Telda

architects & Engineers deliver innovative, remarkable venues for

work, play and expression.

With each project we explore new ways to integrate and organize

ideas with the programmatic and functional essence of a building.

Rather than imposing a style upon different sites and climate the

unique character of a program and a site becomes the starting point

for our architectural design. While anchoring each work in its specific

site and circumstance, we endeavor to obtain a deeper beginning in

the experience of time, space, light and materials. In our designs, the

phenomena of the space of a room, the sunlight entering through a

window, and the color and reflection of materials on a wall and floor

all have integral relationships.

Background Telda Consult was established in 2007 by three architects (Dereje

Hailu, Girum Hailu & Haregewoien Bekele) & a civil engineer (Dawit

Tamerat). Design of private residential buildings and small

commercial buildings used to be the business core of the office. The

office did well and expanded continually through customer focused

dedication.

Telda Consult Plc is driven by a passion for great design, the creation

TELDA Consult (Architects and Engineers) has secured a category II

architectural and engineering consultancy license from the Ministry of

Works and Urban Development. The company is registered with the

ministry of Finance and Economic Development as consultancy

service provider for government organizations. It is also a VAT (value

added tax) registered Firm (Refer to the legal documents attached at

the end of this section).

Environment and Sustainability Our motto when it comes to the Environment is “Adapt rather than

impose buildings, Nurture rather than demolish natural habitats”.

During one of our major projects - the construction management of

118 G+4 low cost apartment buildings, with 2683 housing units and

233 shops at bole summit lot II site, We have managed to implement

the “two trees per one block agenda”. The trees selected to be

planted were native trees and more than 56% of them were taller

than 2m at the project handover time.

GIS and Remote Sensing

Our experienced GIS professionals are familiar with a range of satellite data products and use the latest digital image processing and GIS software packages We provide clients with a range of Geographic Information System (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS) products and services.

BASIC GIS: We can put your business address on your area map, find out the shortest driving routes from anywhere to your business address, suggest alternative driving routes, build a database of your customers spatial address and suggest ideal spot/ areas for your future expansion purposes.

AGRICULTURE: We use imagery data at different spatial, spectral and temporal resolutions for agriculture and crop assessment, crop health, change detection, environmental analysis, irrigated landscape mapping, yield determination and soils analysis. Scheduling and timing of image acquisition is very important to get the accurate information and we will always hinge on the main goals and the type of information that the end user is hoping to gain. Once data has been collected it can be implemented into a mapping environment such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) for management and control of agricultural resources.

We will take advantage of Satellite Remote Sensing technology in the improvement of the present systems of acquiring and generating agricultural and resources data. We have experience in:
