Hints and tips Tarsia puzzles can be tricky. Here are some hints and tips to
help you solve it.
•Try finding sides which don’t have a matching time. These will be on the edges of the puzzle. You can mark them with a cross to help you recognise them.
•Try making the puzzle on the floor or a table you can move around so you can see the puzzle from all angles.
•Think about any resources you can use to help you. Will a number line, clock or poster help you to recognise the times?
This is a Tarsia puzzle. The sides which are next to each other pair up to show the same time. Cut up the puzzle and see if you can put it
back together again.
