TENACITO Technology advantages:During manufacturing the two coatings are pressed simultaneously in a single extrusion operation. Both coatings from different chemical compositions but very complementary, will give a better technical result.• Very stable arc and insensitive to the effects of arc blow.• Sustained and high quality fusion with a very low welding

current setting.• Excellent operator appeal.• Exceptional wetting even at low current.• High flexibility for irregular gap.• High Metallurgical deposit purity.

Available in DRY PACK

TENACITO R

Basic coated MMA electrode for reliable, crack-free and tough welded joints on steels with a yield strength <420 MPa. The weld metal is of extremely high metallurgical purity, is ageing-resistant, retaining ISO-V toughness to -60 °C and CTOD tested. Very low hydrogen content. Due to the double coating of the 2.5 mm and 3.2 mm sizes, the arc is both stable and concentrated, even at lower welding currents when positional welding, with good gap bridging characteristics. Welds are of X-ray quality. TENACITO R is also suited for critical applications when welding steels with a carbon content <0 6 %, e.g. C45, C60. DB approved for rail welding.

TENACITO 38R

TENACITO 38R is a low-hydrogen thick coated basic electrode that deposits weld metal containing C-1.2%Mn-0.9%Ni. Electrode producing tough and crack-free welded joints. Weld deposit is of extremely high metallurgical purity and very low hydrogen content. Owing to its double covering (up to 3.2 mm), the electrode features a stable arc, making it well suited for positional welding. CTOD-tested for offshore applications. Welds are of x-ray quality. The electrode is suitable for positional welding of high integrity applications while conforming to NACE requirements. Suitable for welding micro-alloyed steels in high tech applications found in the offshore/nuclear industries. TENACITO 38R electrode features a stable and concentrated arc making it well-suited for positional welding with excellent mechanical properties in both the as welded and stress relieved conditions. Weld metal is of very low hydrogen content thus it provides high impact strength in service temperatures.
