journey with Key Club is
that anything is possible,
as long as you have the
courage and passion to
make it happen!
This year, I want to in-
spire club members to
take a more active role in
leadership and service. I
hope to do so by encour-
aging members to run
their own unique events
and become more in-
volved in all club and dis-
trict events. My ultimate
goal is very simple: I want
to inspire each and every
one of you to be a more
active and enthusiastic
leader of our community!
One piece of advice: don't
be afraid of failure!
Things may not always go
as planned, but the world
has a funny way of giving
back what you put in.
You'll never succeed with-
out failing a few times,
and no matter what hap-
pens, hard work will al-
ways go a very long way!
So, got a great idea for a
service project or event?
Or want to be the next
Key Club officer? Don't
hesitate for a second to
fulfill your goals and
dreams! Because in the
end, "Key Club is where
you learn about life, while
you have the time of your
life."
Yours in Caring and Ser-
vice, and Happy Key
Clubbing!

Tenafly Key Club Presi-
dent
The month of April marks
a new beginning for Key
Club, and a (mostly) new
group of officers! In this
issue you will get to know a
bit about your new officers,
and what they hope to ac-
complish in the 2014-2015
service year. First up, a
word from your president:
Hey Key Clubbers! My
name is Mabel Zhang, and
I am the current president
of the Tenafly Key Club! I
am a junior and I've been
an active Key Clubber since
I joined the club two years
ago. Last service year, I was
the club treasurer, and I
ran events such as the
Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF
and the Valentine's Day
carnations sale. During my
term, I saw the amazing
things that the club was
able to do for our commu-
nity and its people, and I
was truly inspired by mem-
bers' passion for commu-
nity service. The most im-
portant thing that I've
learned from my amazing

VOLUME III, ISSUE I
My name is Daniel Cohen, and I am Tenafly Key Club’s Vice President. That means
that I’m the number-two, the backup, the fallback, the contingency plan, and so on
and so forth. That also means that I’m here to help you guys! I am by no means a
frightening person. On the contrary, I am friendly, and I am fond of frequent funnies,
as well as alliteration and correct grammar. I promise that I won’t be mean about gram-
mar mistakes. I’ve been a member of Key Club for three years, and I have loved every
moment of it. I love to play Ultimate Frisbee; what I lack in height I make up for in
hops. I’m also honest, not because I tell the truth but because I stopped trying to lie;
I’m very bad at it. I hope to have an amazing year with you all! Vice –President
My name is Colin Colchamiro and I am the secretary for our club for this, the 2014-2015
service year. Although I am a freshman, I am fully dedicated and ready for this task. I love
working at events and helping to lead all of you to participate in Key Club and help save the
world, one way or another. I am also very into the theater program at our school as well as
choir. Please come to me with any questions about your service hours, upcoming events, re-
cords, or anything else that I can help you with. I’m looking forward to a great service year!
Secretary
Hi! My name is Kiana Lim and I'm your new treasurer! I'm only a freshman, (soon to be
sophomore), but I'm willing to do my best to fulfill my duties. I came from Staten Island
and moved here in fourth grade. My favorite color is red, favorite book at the moment is It's
Kind of a Funny Story, which I totally recommend, and my favorite movie is Dinner for
Smucks. I try to act pretty chill most of the time, so if you ever feel the need to talk to me or
message me about something do it! I'd love hearing from you guys and learning more about
our amazing members. Let's make this service year the best yet!
Treasurer
Hey guys! My name is Adalia Wu and I’m the editor for the 2014-2015 service year. I’m
only a freshman, but I’m going to do my utmost best! Some of my interests include draw-
ing, singing, and cooking ( I promise not to make you eat my culinary disasters). Some
random facts about me: I can’t hoola-hoop and I’m good at making conversations super
awkward with my terrible social skills. I love meeting new people, so feel free to talk to me,
even if it’s not Key Club related! You can probably find me hanging around facebook, or
awkwardly touching the Key Club bulletin boards after school while contemplating what
designs to put up next. Looking forward to seeing you all in Key Club !

Regional Training Conferences,
or RTCs, are workshops de-
signed to inform officers and
general members alike in the
basic structure of the K family,
and Key Club as a whole. Seri-
ous stuff aside, Regional Train-
ing Conferences aren't a total
drag! You get to meet Key Club-
bers from the northern region
of New Jersey and exchange
service project ideas like baseball
cards!
Each year, RTCs take place
twice in the Spring and thrice in
the Fall. This year, Spring RTCs
are coming up soon! There is
one taking place at Roxbury
High School on Monday, May

can always work something out.

Introducing the New Hours System!
Cards for Mothers’ Day
after the club meeting. Carpools can be negotiated!
Mini-Service Events have only been recently introduced to Tenafly Key Club. They are short, (20-40 min-utes) and require relatively nominal planning.
ANYONE can submit an idea or lead a mini-service event. Just con-tact the officers to get started!
As many of you already know, on April 10th Tenafly Key Club held its first mini-service project led by Ethan Santos. On that day, members stayed after the club meeting to create mothers’ day cards for new mothers.
In addition to the mini-service event, we are also taking a field trip to the Englewood Hospital to deliver and present these
cards on Thursday, May 8th,
