What are some ways to solve this expression mentally? How did you decide which strategy to use? How did you keep track of the numbers you divided mentally? What are some models we can use to represent this expression? Maths Concept (ACMNA098) Today we are identifying factors and multiples in given numbers. Assessment (Independent Task): Please complete the factors and multiples activities assigned to you on Mathletics. MORNING TEA LITERACY ACTIVITIES Spelling (ACELA1513) Today we are learning to read and identify the sound “u”. Log in to Sound Waves www.soundwaveskids.com.au Unit 11. Click on the interactive games section. Play the unjumbler and grapheme trek games. Have someone read your spelling words to you as you write them on a piece of paper/whiteboard. Self-mark and transfer results into spelling journal. Look at the ones you got incorrect, go outside and step each word out as you spell it. Reading (ACELY1702) Today we are learning to determine the importance of what we are reading to answer identified questions. Log in to Literacy Pro https://slz04.scholasticlearningzone.com/slz- portal/#/login3/AUSV8KJ Go to Library and select your assigned book from your teacher. Continue to read the book and complete the quiz when finished reading. Writing (ACELT1612) We are learning to ‘show’ feelings in our writing. Analyse the picture on the Adding Feelings” sheet. Read the ways we can “show” feelings. Access the Adding Feelings worksheet. Analyse the picture and describe the feeling in the speech bubble. Write sentences to “show” how the character is feeling on the lines provided. Number them down the side. I am looking for correct punctuation and a variety of techniques to “show” the feelings. Upload your work to Dojo. LUNCH PHYSICAL EDUCATION Object Control Skills (ACPMP061 & ACPMP065): We are practising dribbling a basketball. View the website: http://wbpsphysed.weebly.com/ for today’s PE lesson. Today we will warm up, watch a video on how to complete dribbling a large ball, practise the skill, complete a challenge and lastly, cool down. Using a large space outside (front/backyard, driveway, patio, local basketball court, park). Start off at a walk and slowly increase your speed. Create an obstacle course to work through and time yourself. See if you can beat it each time! Extra Activity Crossovers can you successfully complete this skill?
