Term 3 Week 1 20th June 2018

Hello Families

Welcome to Term 3!

Another term has begun and we are now in full swing. But

before we focus on the term ahead, I would like to reflect

on the wonderful events of the last week of last term.

What a success our “Biggest Morning Tea” Cancer Council

fundraising event was! Thank you to our community for

supporng this event so wholeheartedly. The staff and

students were thrilled at the number of a*endees. We

raised several hundred dollars and exceeded our pledge.

Thank you everyone for your help and support for this very

worthy cause.

Also held in our last week was the “Jump Rope for Heart”

Jump Off. It was incredibly pleasing to see how skilled our

students had become over the term. The Jump Off was a

test of skill and endurance and everyone’s effort are to be

applauded. Thank you to all our friends and family for

sponsoring the children. Again, we raised several hundred

dollars for the Heart Foundaon and exceeded our pledge.

Special menon must go to Ella and Dion who both raised

significant sums of money individually. Special thank you

to Mrs Kaurila for organising and being the driving force

behind this successful program.

See photos in this newsle*er.
