This weeks happenings:
Thank-you to Mrs Lisa Hollingsworth for her cleaning
expertise , while Mrs Harris was unwell.
* Thank-you also to Mrs Johanna Kirkland for organizing
and installing the key holder for the Tuckshop key at the
Tuckshop. Have a look at the picture further on in the
newsletter how sweet it is.
Reports cards were emailed home on Friday afternoon.
Hard copies will be forwarded this week. Please remember
to contact the school to organize a parent teacher interview
by request. If you find any misprints please contact the
school and we will correct and resend.
We are enjoying our Museum Kit’s this week.

Our New Tables & Chairs Safety Box Home
In term 4, on the 6th and 7th of October, our school will be under a mandatory review. This
review occurs once every 4 years.
The reviewers look closely at our school’s performance data and speak with a wide range of
staff, students, parents and community members to get an accurate picture of the school.
Feedback from parents and the community is an important part of school reviews and
everyone is encouraged to have their say(timetable to follow)

Our School Work
Prep—Year 1
Prep have been working on cre-ating graphs about our favourite animals.
Year One have been learning about ordering objects according to length
Year 2-3
This week Year 2 are learning about
measuring objects
using informal units.
Year 4, 5, 6
The 4, 5, 6 class this week learning
all about fractions in maths.
Announcements
The Sea Lorry will be arriving at The Gums
State School at 3pm every last Wednesday
of the month. His next visit is expected to
be on the 29th of July.

4/5/6 class all about Fractions this
week.

Fair Play Vouchers for students which
meet certain criteria, can apply for a
rebate valued up to $150, for a child to
use towards sport and active recreation
membership etc. Tennis is offering
coaching, fixture and membership
discounts to any child with a fair play
