Tena ra koutou ki nga hau e wha – Greetings to everybody.
We have been reviewing our school vision and strategic plan to take us through the next four to five years. It was great to see many parents contributing their ideas to our display in the library during the student-‐led conferences. We are now at the point of making a final decision about our vision, which is the driving statement for the school. It should clearly focus on what we as a school community want our school and students to be in the future. Our school strategic plan, programmes, planning and assessment are driven by our vision. The choices are: “Teaching today for Tomorrow” or “Learning Today for Tomorrow”. We invite you to have your say. Please email [email protected] with the word ‘vision’ in the subject line and let us know what you think.

Yellow, yellow daffodil, you are really really bright.
Oh yellow, yellow daffodil, you’re brighter than the night.
I can hear birds hum and fly around
But yellow, yellow daffodil, you stay and get found.

Daffodil
Yellow, yellow daffodil, you gaze at the sun all day.
Oh yellow, yellow daffodil, I think that you should stay.
I can hear cats scream about and people running around.
But yellow, yellow daffodil I think you can be found.

Yellow, yellow daffodil, spring finally has come.
Oh yellow, yellow daffodil, I have just begun.
I can hear children laugh and see them play
But yellow, yellow daffodil I love you every day.
