For stable and precise

printing, slitting, or

converting, we offer our well-known grip tapes or tension control products, commonly called “Printer’s Friends” (tesa® 4863

and tesa® 4563). With their unique siliconized backing, they are extremely resistant to both ink and solvents and provide a

non-slip effect on smooth surfaces that come into their contact. In addition, the thermoset rubber adhesive allows r esidue-free

removal from most surfaces.

Edge sealing tapes

For sealing the edges of flexographic printing plates, tesa® 53016 and tesa® 53017 provide a highly flexible backing combined

with an aggressive adhesive that will secure edges in the most demanding printing environments. tesa® edge seal tapes are solvent

The images from a scanning electron microscope (REM) confirm that
