We went to see Cats at the International Theatre

Today is the last day of school for the students of

Heatherton Junior School. The children are happy

because in September they’ll go to a new

secondary school, but they’re sad to fi nish at

Heatherton. For fi ve years they went there every

day, and now they’re saying goodbye to all the

teachers. They’re also happy because it’s the

summer now and many children are going on

holiday. We asked two students about their plans.

Stephen

My mum and dad are teachers so we all have a

long holiday together. Last year we went to Spain

and this year we’re going to France for six weeks.

Me and my sister Jodie are going to do lots of

activities. We always go swimming, but this year

we want to learn windsurfi ng and go climbing too.

Sophie

We always go to my grandpa’s house in Scotland

for three weeks. I really love going there because I

usually see all my cousins, aunts and uncles too.

This summer we’re going to visit Edinburgh –

there’s a fantastic castle there. I can’t wait!
