STEP 1: LOGGING INTO SHOWTIME

OK, SO YOU WANT TO DO A SHOWTIME PRESENTATION. YOU’VE GOT YOUR POWERPOINT OR PDF FILE READY – BUT HOW DO YOU GET STARTED?

FIRST OF ALL, GO TO THE SHOWTIME LOGIN PAGE WHERE YOU WILL SEE THE FOLLOWING:


1. If you’re presenting, log in as a host by entering your registered e-mail and PIN and then click here.

2. Your attendees will log in by entering their email address and the PIN you gave them, and then clicking here.

STEP 1: LOGGING INTO SHOWTIME


STEP 2: UPLOAD A PRESENTATION

RIGHT. YOU’RE IN. NOW WHERE’S THAT PRESENTATION YOU’VE SPENT SO LONG PUTTING TOGETHER?

THE NEXT SCREEN SHOWS HOW TO UPLOAD YOUR FILE. (AND DON’T WORRY, IT’S QUITE SAFE ON OUR SECURE SERVERS).

TOP TIP: Uploading is a pretty painless exercise but, to be on the safe side, it’s probably best to do this bit at least ten minutes before your Showtime conference is due to start.


1. First click on the Manage tab.


2. Click here to upload a new presentation.


1. Browse your local drives for the presentation you want to use

2. Once you’ve found it, follow the given instructions and click ‘Upload File’ to load it onto our secure servers



Wait for upload to complete then click ‘Show Content’ to go to the presentation mode



STEP 3: DISPLAY YOUR PRESENTATION

YOUR FILE IS NOW SAFELY UPLOADED. IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE PRESENTATION, YOU CAN REPEAT STEP 2 AS OFTEN AS YOU LIKE, BUILDING UP A FOLDER OF PRESENTATIONS ON OUR SECURE SERVER.

ALL YOU NEED TO DO NOW IS GET THE RIGHT ONE UP ON THE SCREEN READY FOR WHEN EVERYONE ELSE LOGS IN.


2. Simply select a file from here by clicking on it. If you’ve only uploaded one, it should be easy to choose.

3. As if by magic, your first slide appears here – visible to anyone who logs in.

STEP 3: DISPLAY YOUR PRESENTATION1. Click on the Presentation tab.


1. As your attendees log in, their names will appear here. When everyone is present and correct, you can start!

2. Unless your delegates prefer silent movies, they should also have dialled into Powwownow using the same PIN. That way you can all chat as you go.


3. Click on the padlock to lock and unlock your web conference room.

2. To reveal it to the audience, click here.



1. If you need to show slides out of sequence, simply select them here.

2. Your chosen slide then appears here (to you only). Click “Show” to display to your audience.

3. Zoom in and zoom out button for the current slide.



1. If you want to draw attention to something, use the slide pointer. Clicking anywhere on your slide once will move the pointer to that spot.

2. Simply double click the same spot to remove it.



1. When you’re done, please click on the ‘Logout’ button to exit Showtime.
