TESTING SERVICESOverview
Testing Accommodations is a collaborative process between the DRC student, the Professor,
and DRC.
COMMUNICATION IS ESSENTIAL ! The student is responsible for initiating the
process and is responsible for maintaining active communication with both the Professor and DRC.
At the beginning of each quarter, student submits a Faculty Notification Request
form to the DRC.
DRC prepares Notification of Test Accommodation letters.
Student delivers letters to Professors.
Timeline: As early as possible in the quarter but no later than one week prior to first exam.

Status & Test Accommodations
Professor opts to provide accommodations.
Student and Professor coordinate directly.
Student asks Professor: Do you want to provide my accommodations
or should I take at the DRC?
STEP 2Request to use Testing
Accommodations for a specific exam*
DRC to provide accommodations
On the scheduled date, student takes exam at DRC
Student submits a Test Request to DRC and Professor. Obtains Prof approval if different
day/time than class.Timeline: 3 working days before exam*
*Finals requests due the 8th week
DRC contacts Professor to request the exam materials.Timeline: 2 working days before exam
Completed exam is returned to the department or picked up by the Professor

TESTING SERVICESImportant Timelines
Regular Test Requests are due 3 working days prior to the exam date.
Finals Test Requests are due by Friday of the 8th week of the quarter.
3 late Test Requests will be accepted per quarter. Additional requests will not be accepted for the remainder of the quarter. The student will have to take the exam in class
under standard conditions.
