In order to be able to use certain functions of this instrument (in particular the measurement data management), you need to accept the Testo Cloud terms and conditions of use, which you will find at www.testo.network.

2 Preparation

2.1. Register Account Owner

Each e-mail address can only be used once and cannot be assigned to multiple Account Owners.

If you are already using a Saveris 2 system, please use the same e-mail addresses that you have already used with Saveris 2. You do not need to register again if this is the case. Please log in straight away using your login details.

1. In the address field of your browser, enter: www.testo.network

- A login screen appears. 2. Click on New here? Register now! 3. Select your country. 4. Fill in all fields.

Display Explanation

Country The country that you are in, or that the system is being installed in.

Language Determines the language that your system is configured to use.

E-mail Required for verifying the registration. Enter a valid e-mail address.

Password • Choose a password that is easy for you to remember, but secure.

• The password must be between 8 and 20 characters long.

5. Read the Specific Terms and Conditions and confirm by checking the box.

6. Click on Register. - Registration is complete. - A message is displayed, indicating that registration was

successful. - A confirmation e-mail is sent to the specified e-mail address. 7. Click on the link in this confirmation e-mail. - A page opens in your browser with the login screen.

2.2. Create a user 1. Log in as Administrator (e.g. with the login details that you used

to register). 2. Click on Configuration -> Users. - An overview of users is displayed. 3. Click on + to create a new user. - An input window is displayed. 4. Fill in all relevant fields, in particular the standard user role.

Moreover, you can also assign roles for your HACCP team and the testo 250 Control Unit. You can use the groups of Control Unit permissions to decide which monitoring processes should be visible to the user. Here, you can also read an NFC key or label.

5. Click Save. - The specified data is imported, and the user is created.

2.3. Reading an NFC tag

2.3.1. NFC tag for users If you have assigned an NFC tag to a user, this user can log in with his NFC tag and does not need to type in his user information manually. 1. Create the user as outlined in “Create a user”. 2. Click in the field “Assign NFC”. 3. Hold the NFC tag up to the reader on your PC. - The NFC tag is read and displayed. 4. Click Save. - The specified data is imported Alternatively, you can also assign an NFC tag to a user on the testo 250 Control Unit under Actions, Assign NFC. To do this, however, the Control Unit Administrator role is required.

2.3.2. NFC tag for other areas 1. Log onto the testo 250 HACCP Control Unit using your user

information, or read your assigned NFC tag. 2. Hold a new, non-assigned NFC tag up to the NFC detection

area on your testo 250 HACCP Control Unit. - The NFC tag is read and displayed. - A selection list is displayed 3. Select the product/measuring point etc. that this NFC-Tag is to

be assigned to. 4. Tap “save”. - The NFC tag is uniquely assigned. Alternatively, as Administrator you can also assign an NFC tag on the testo 250 Control Unit in the respective area under Configuration.

3.1. Overview of the testo 250 HACCP Control Unit

Thanks to its protective case, your instrument has the IP classification (Ingress Protection) IP65. Always press all covers down firmly, to ensure that the instrument is waterproof and dustproof. If it is ascertained that water has gotten inside, for example under one of the covers, this will invalidate your warranty. Before using your instrument in water or in dusty environments, read through the relevant section in your instrument's instruction manual to find out more. Online and downloadable versions of the instruction manual are available at www.sonymobile.com/support.

3.2. Overview of clips

3.3. Switching the testo 250 HACCP Control Unit on/off

To commission the testo 250 HACCP Control Unit, please read the Quick Reference Guide. You will find a detailed description of the HACCP Control Unit at www.sonymobile.com/support

3.3.1. Switching on 1. Remove the protective film from the front panel of the housing. 2. Press and hold down the power button for 2 sec. - The testo 250 HACCP Control Unit switches on. 3. Unlock the screen. - Wait until the testo 250 HACCP Check App starts. This process

can take up to 30 sec.

3.3.2. Switch off 1. Press and hold down the power button and tap Turn off. - The testo 250 HACCP Control Unit switches off.

3.4. Operating the testo 250 HACCP Check App When your testo 250 HACCP Control Unit is started up for the first time, the startup wizard opens automatically.

> Have your WLAN settings and login details ready. > Follow the individual steps of the startup wizard, this will guide

you through all the necessary settings.

3.5. Overview of the app

1 Settings 2 Registered user 3 Status display (Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi, battery capacity, date

and time). 4 Schedule: opens the calendar/schedule view and the tasks

assigned to the user. 5 Locations: displays all checklists assigned to the user, sorted by

location and measuring point. 6 Start/pause a checklist. 7 Products: displays all checklists assigned to the user, sorted by

product category and product. 8 Actions: opens an overview of the possible actions.

3.6. testo 104-IR BT / 102-1 temperature measurement Connecting the testo 102-1

If you have disconnected the testo 102-1, wait at least 10 seconds before reconnecting it.

An extra clip is supplied with the testo 250 to ensure secure storage of the testo 102-1. Use this extra clip instead of a standard clip.

1. Switch off the testo 250 HACCP Control Unit. 2. Open the protective case.

You can use the short side of the standard clip to open the attached clips. Turn your testo 250 HACCP Control Unit so that the rear is facing you, slide the short side of the standard clip under the attached clip until it pops open and remove the clips.

3. Remove the cap used to close the opening to the headset jack. 4. Connect the testo 102-1 to your testo 250 Control Unit. 5. Close the protective case and secure using the required clips. 6. Switch on the testo 250 HACCP Control Unit. Using the testo 104-IR BT

✓ You are logged onto the testo 250 HACCP Control Unit.

✓ The testo 104-IR BT is switched on and Bluetooth is enabled.

1. Tap Actions -> Measure temperature. - The testo 250 HACCP Control Unit displays a list of all available

instruments. 2. Tap the required measuring instrument - On the testo 102-1, you can start the measurement and the

readings are displayed - On the testo 104-IR BT, you can start the measurement. Use

the testo 104-IR BT just like a normal measuring instrument and transfer the result to the testo 250 HACCP Control Unit by pressing the Send button.
