EDITOR’S LETTER

Welcome to Telecom Exchange (TEX) West, a unique networking event specifically designed to

generate qualified business opportunities between and among networks with connectivity in and around the West Coast and beyond. The event is also the first of its kind to showcase all the key carrier hotels, meet-me-rooms and data centers in North America, to help further navigate the network operators through the many connectivity options. Together with our TEX sponsors, including platinum sponsor CoreSite and gold sponsor Allied Fiber, as well as nearly 50 exhibiting companies and hundreds of attendees, we have created a neutral playing field, an ‘anti-trade show’ environment, where all networks and colocation and data center houses have equal opportunity to showcase their services and conduct business.

After years of watching telecom deals halt to a standstill from a lack of provisioning, inaccurate network know-how, or just not knowing the key point person within a given company to get the job done, Jaymie Scotto & Associates (JSA) is hosting TEX as a way to get the right people behind the networks to meet, share products and services and close deals. All networks represented on the exhibit floor here today have or require connectivity in the US and can potentially be one cross-connect away from doing business with you.

The marketing madness of traditional telecom trade shows is left at the door. Instead, Telecom Exchange is all about getting business done. All exhibitors’ table spaces are uniform with similar size, placement and signage. What is different and noteworthy is what each company has to offer.

In this Directory, exhibitors are listed with their latest products and service offerings, a promotion specifically designed for TEX attendees, their local PoP listings (color-coded for easy networking), and their website and contact details. Exhibitors are lined up in alphabetical order and also listed in this centerfold’s floor layout, easily allowing you to navigate the floor and network.

There are only three reasons to step away from the active exhibit floor: a 20-minute, one-on-one meeting with a telecom decision maker, journalist or analyst in our DealCenter area located in the south side of the United Club; a visit to the CEO Roundtables from 11am to 3pm, to hear our industry’s top CEOs share their insights on the latest net neutrality ruling, burstable media transport, power availability, and telecom M&A; or Kevin Linehan’s CMO Summit on inbound marketing from noon to 3pm. Starting at 3:30, please join us in the center of the United Club as we kick-off the TEX After Party.

Thank you again for your continued support of our JSA events. We look forward to seeing you in June in NYC at Telecom Exchange East. Check out thetelecomexchange.com for more. We are, as always, honored to be able to promote you.

Sincerely,

Jaymie Scotto CutaiaFounder & CEO of JSA

The FSP 3000- SCALABLE OPTICAL TRANSPORT: The FSP 3000 is a scalable WDM transport solution specifi cally designed for service providers and large enterprises looking for flexibility and cost-efficiency in multiplexing, transporting and protecting high-speed data, storage and video applications. The FSP 3000 facilitates bandwidth scale and service flexibility in access, backhaul, metro and long-haul networks, while supporting the creation of new revenue opportunities for high-speed OTN, Ethernet and storage services.

FSP 3000 - Modules: Telecom service providers and enterprises have made it clear – they need 100G transport technology in their networks in order to handle increased data traffic and bandwidth consumption. While the industry has moved quickly with the development of 100G, speed isn’t everything. Spectral efficiency, price, space and power dissipation metrics also have to be improved over today’s 10G and 40G offerings. Our 100G Metro modules are simply the most efficient way to transport your data traffic in enterprise and data center applications today.
