There are 205 million migrants around the world. Tens of millions are undocumented while about 20 million are refugees.

Debt-ridden and corrupt regimes in Third World countries such as the Philippines, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and others are saying that migration is “international sharing of human resources” and that the “remittances of migrants help prop up (their) economies.”

In the Philippines there are over 3000 people who leave each day to work overseas.

More than 250, 000 migrants enter Canada under the Temporary Workers Program.

They work in telecommunications, landscaping, farms, factories, hotels, restaurants, etc...
