    PTC Chick-fil-A Lunch—March

    This month’s PTC Lunch is scheduled for Friday, March 24. As this is a Lenten Friday, only cheese pizza is being of-fered. If you have not placed an order through Yearly Pay, or Semester Pay please place your order by 3:30pm, Fri-day, March 10. Please click here for the order form only for the month of March.

    Bike Rodeo Grades 1 — 5

    St. Luke will be having a bike rodeo on Wednesday, March 22. Please follow this link for a copy of the Rules and Information, Bicycle Rodeo Permission Form, and Bike Rodeo Instructions. Students received an information packet today. Please return the Per-mission Form by 3:30pm, Friday, March 10, 2017. Please contact Ro-setta Barrera-Martinez with any ques-tions at 210-215-9583.

    IOWA Test Dates 1st-8th Grade

    Tues., Mar. 28 through Thurs., Mar. 30 and Tues., Apr. 4 through Thurs., Apr. 6. Please note that there can be no inter-ruptions during testing. Students arriving after testing has begun will wait in the school office until the test is completed. We will not be able to call into classrooms for early dismissals while testing is in progress. Please check with your child’s homeroom teacher if you have any questions regarding the testing schedule. Tardies Excused March 8

    day, March 8, due to a major acci-

    dent on I 10. All students arriving

    before 8:30am were marked pre-

    sent.

    Ash Wednesday Soup and Bread Meal

    Many thanks to all students in 2nd through 8th grade who donated $3.00 towards the cost of the Ash Wednesday soup and bread meal. In addition to the monetary donations from students and teachers, the cafeteria donated the soup, bread and milk. Additionally, the cafeteria staff, pictured above, donated their pay for that day. A total of $929.50 was raised. All proceeds from the meal will benefit the St. Vincent de Paul Soci-ety.

    Suggested non-perishable food

    items: canned tuna/chicken; canned

    soups, fruits, vegetables; peanut but-

    ter/jelly; rice/beans; spaghetti sauce;

    noodles; vegetable oil. You may

    leave your donations in the bins that

    are in the school office hallway.
