Day 1 & 2 – USA to Amman, Jordan Your pilgrimage begins as you depart on your international flight.You will be welcomed to Amman, Jordan by our representative andtransferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Petra Travel south from Amman for a visit to the city of Petra. Its entrancepasses through a long, narrow gorge known as the Siq and can onlybe accessed by carriage, horseback or on foot. Once inside the city,marvel at the intricate detail of a city that was cut into the cliff sidesof rose‐colored rock. Return to Amman for overnight.

Day 4– Mount Nebo, Madaba, Qumran & JerichoVisit Mount Nebo, where Moses caught a glimpse of the PromisedLand (Deuteronomy 34). On a clear day, you can see all the wayacross the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, to the rooftops ofJerusalem and Bethlehem. Continue to Madaba, the City of Mosaics,to visit the Church of Saint George with its sixth‐century, Byzantine,mosaic map showing Jerusalem and other holy sites. Cross theborder into Israel and visit Qumran, site of the Dead Sea Scrollsdiscovery. Learn about the mysterious community of Essenes whoonce lived on the shores of the Dead Sea. Time‐permitting,experience the mineral‐laden waters of the Dead Sea beforeheading to Jericho to visit the ruins of the ancient city Joshuaconquered (Joshua 6:20). From Jericho, you can see the traditionalsite of the Temptation of Jesus (Matthew 4:1).

Day 5 – Ein Karem, Bethlehem & the HerodionTravel to Ein Karem, where Mary visited with Elizabeth. InBethlehem, visit the cave where Jesus was born (Matthew 1:18) andsee the Church of the Nativity built over the site. Gaze out overShepherds Field, where the angels first proclaimed the Good News,and conclude your day by exploring the Herodion, the palace‐fortress of Herod the Great.

Day 6 – Jerusalem Enter the Old City and walk along the Cardo, the ancient mainstreet. The Southern Wall Excavations of the Temple Mount,including the Teaching Steps and the Western Wall, are a must see.View the Pool of Bethesda (John 5:1), where Jesus performed theSabbath miracle, and sing a hymn in the Church of St. Anne toexperience its beautiful acoustics. Visit Herod’s Antonia Fortress,where Jesus was brought before Pontius Pilate (Luke 23:1). Walkthe Via Dolorosa, “the Way of the Cross,” and end your day at theChurch of the Holy Sepulchre, reflecting on Christ’s sacrificial love.

Day 7 – JerusalemStand on the Mount of Olives as Jesus did, and enjoy a remarkableview of the “Golden City” of Jerusalem, including the Temple Mountand Dome of the Rock. Visit the Garden of Gethsemane, whereJesus prayed for God’s will to be done (Matthew 26:30). Visit theUpper Room, revered as the site of the Last Supper (Mark 14:12‐26).Visit the House of the High Priest Caiaphas (Matthew 26:57), whereJesus was imprisoned for a night. End your day with communion atthe Garden Tomb (Matthew 27:33).

Day 8 – Caesarea, Megiddo, Nazareth & CanaVisit the Roman Aqueduct and Theatre at Caesarea, a center of theearly Christians, where Cornelius became the first Gentile convertto the new religion (Acts 10), and where Paul was imprisoned beforebeing taken to Rome for trial. Travel the ancient caravan route toTel Megiddo, where 20 different cities lie superimposed upon eachother. Journey to Nazareth, Jesus’ boyhood home (Luke 26), andrecall Jesus’ first miracle as you travel through Cana (John 2:1).

Day 9 – The Galilee As you sail across the Sea of Galilee, enjoy a special on boardworship service. Visit Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ ministry, andvisit the synagogue where Jesus taught (Matthew 4:13; Mark 3).Travel to the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus preached theSermon on the Mount (Matthew 5). At Tabgha, you’ll visit theChurch of the Fish and the Loaves (Luke 9:10). Return to Ammanfor dinner and overnight.

Day 10 – Return to the USA or enjoy a Cruise on the Nile.

Day 10 Today you will fly across the Sinai Peninsula and the Suez Canal to the city of Cairo, Egypt.Day 11 Admire ancient treasures at the Egyptian Museum. Explore the Coptic Church, the Mohammed Ali Mosque and enjoy a beautiful panorama of the city from the Citadel.Day 12 Fly to Luxor. Board your Nile Cruise boat. Visits to Luxor and Karnak temples.Day 13 Visit the Necropolis of Thebes, Valley of the Kings and Queens, Temple of Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon. Sail to Esna and cross the locks. Continue to Edfu for overnight.Day 14 Temple of Horus in Edfu. Sail to Kom Ombo to visit the Temple shared by the gods Sobek and Haroeris. Sail to Aswan and overnight.Day 15 Disembark. Visit the High Dam of Aswan, Granite Quarry, Unfinished Obelisk, and Temple of Philae. Fly to Cairo for dinner and overnight.Day 16 Visit the ancient capital of Memphis. The Step Pyramid can be seen at Sakkara. See the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Day 17 Depart Egypt and arrive in the USA (Some itineraries may require an overnight in Amman on Day 16).

Conditions and LimitationsThis is a brief description of the plan available for all Travel Protection sales for Trips departing January 1, 2013 and after. • A deposit of $300 is due with registration to hold your spot on tour.• An additional deposit of $1500 is due 105 days prior to departure.• Final payment for the trip is due 75 days prior to departure. • The Travel Protection Plan premium will be due no later than 105 days prior to departure to be in full

effect. Travel protection premiums must be paid in addition to your deposits and in advance of the final payment for coverage to be in effect.

REGISTRATIONS RECEIVED 105 DAYS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE OR LESS:We welcome registrations after 105 days prior to departure. Registrations received 105 days-90 days prior todeparture will incur a $100 per person fee. Registrations received between 89-75 days prior will incur a $200per person fee. Registrations received 74 days prior or less will incur an additional fee based on air availability.Additional fees will be advised upon registration. FIT TO TRAVEL STATEMENT:Passengers registering for the tour accept the responsibility for being in good health and able to walk andtravel on the tour. Because many of the sites are not accessible to the physically challenged, those needingoxygen, wheelchairs, or other ambulatory assistance will find the tour extremely limiting to their experiences. Ifyou have questions, please contact your travel agent for more details.PRICE INCREASES:All prices quoted in this brochure are subject to change prior to payment in full due to currency fluctuations,fuel surcharge increases, government taxes and fees increases or unforeseen circumstances. In addition, youmay be subject to a price increase after payment in full has been received due to potential government imposedtaxes and fees.AIRLINE ROUTES and TICKETS:In order to keep prices low, ETS does not guarantee the most direct routing to your final destination. Once“printed,” airline tickets cannot be changed or refunded thereafter. Air transportation to/from your destinationwill be economy class on IATA and ARC carriers utilizing APEX or SUPER APEX non-refundable, non-amendable tickets for groups of 10 or more flying together on entire itinerary.FLIGHT TIMES: All flights are subject to change by the airlines without advance notice. ETS is not responsible for such changesor delays and does not reimburse expenses resulting from such delays. If you are making your own flightarrangements to the departure city, we recommend you purchase a ticket that can be exchanged without largepenalties.ADDITIONAL AIRLINE FEES:You will likely incur additional airline checked baggage fees that are not included in the price of the tour. Thesefees vary by airline and are at the airline's discretion on each segment of the flight itinerary. Additionally, youmay incur optional fees (food, excess baggage, overweight baggage, items of personal nature, etc.) as well.For more information contact your travel agent.DEVIATIONS:Deviations from the standard tour program must be submitted in writing and are subject to additional airlinefees, if applicable. Transfers for passengers who deviate are not included.ITINERARY CHANGES:Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of this brochure. While you will see all sites listed in thisbrochure, the order of sites and/or days and number of days may be altered to accommodate changes inairline, hotel schedules, and local conditions. Due to airline schedules, some participants may receive one ortwo extra leisure days at a nominal per day charge and some extensions may not be available on all departuredates. If itinerary changes necessitate extra overnights, you will be charged $125 per night; single rooms $175per night. Meals for extra nights are not included.CANCELLATION FEES: Cancellation Fees may be covered by the optional Travel Protection Program, provided premium has beenpaid and reason for cancellation is insurable. Those who do not take travel protection should be aware of thefollowing cancellation penalties: From day of registration to 105 days prior to departure, you will be charged the$100 non-refundable administrative fee plus any airline fees. Additionally, thereafter, you will be charged anyairline penalties and a single room supplement if your cancellation forces your roommate into a single plus thefollowing charges: 104-60 days = $400; 59-45 days = $600; 44-31 days = 40% of total cost; 30 days to day ofdeparture = 100% of total cost. In addition, cancellation fees for Nile Cruise are: 59-31 days = 25% of extensioncost; 30-0 days = 100%. Submit cancellation in writing. On or after day of departure, there will be no refund forany services not used.VALIDITY DATE:This brochure is valid until 6/1/16. If validity date has passed, contact your travel agent for current pricing.Registrations will still be accepted after the validity date.RELEASE INFORMATIONPayment of deposit indicates permission for ETS or its agents to record the registrant’s participation andappearance on video tape, audio tape, film, photograph, or any other medium and to use the registrant’s name,likeness, voice, comments, submitted documentation, written papers, and/or biographical material withoutrestrictions or limitation for any advertising, marketing, publicity, educational or promotional purpose which ETSor its agents deem appropriate, unless the registrant or guardian otherwise notifies ETS in writing prior todeparture.Except where otherwise stated, ETS acts only as agent for the relevant supplier in securing hotels, transportationand other travel services and in no event shall ETS be liable for failure by any such supplier to render anytransportation, lodging or other travel service to be provided on the tour.
