Reach-back support includes:

• Maintaining NR contracting vehicles used by FECs & supported commands

• DoD Partners in Amphibian and Reptile Conservation (PARC)

Primary mission - provide reach-back support to NAVFAC FECs. We

also support to: EURAFCENT, NAVFAC HQ, CNIC, EXWC, Marine

Corps, MARFORRES, OSD, USFF, and SPAWAR

• Provides a mechanism to utilize student interns to support Natural

Resource (NR) and Cultural Resource (CR) programs at Navy and

Marine Corps installations worldwide

• Support specific Integrated Natural & Cultural Resource Management

Plan projects

• Requires substantial government participation - e.g. Navy technical

assistance & oversight, coordination of safety planning, direct

participation in awarded tasks

• 1-year base award with four 1-year options

• Work Orders executed and managed through each FEC

Paul Block CNIC/NAVFAC BASH NR Coordinator supporting the

Navy/USMC BASH Programs worldwide

BASH Program provides leadership, guidance, and technical support

for the management of BASH issues at airfields

Support includes: developing/updating policy and guidance; testing

of new technologies; providing outreach and communication, data and metric

support; and airfield hazard surveys with mitigation and management

recommendations.
