A Special Christmas for 4

• The Links made Christmas Special for all Safe Haven children, but 4 of them had special circumstances that made this Christmas, all the more meaningful.

• Kym and Alexis have been living, almost homeless for about 2 years. They came with their mom to Safe Haven, and decorated a gingerbread house together as a family.

• Kym and Alexis along with Jordan then opened their gifts. It was as if it was Christmas morning for them.

• The Links gave them the Christmas they missed this year.

• She put her head down in tears, but later finally told us.

• Essence’ little sister Aasha’s lungs collapsed over the holidays. She was on life support for a few days, but she pulled through.

• This took Essence from school, with early morning trips to the Birmingham hospital. For weeks the family was in between homes, because of possible mold.

• However, on Christmas Eve, Santa’s helpers (The Links) came to the rescue, and made it a wonderful Christmas for this little girl!
