Louisville Kentucky is on the move to make our city a Healthier city.

3 John verse 2 states” Beloved I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

The move is on for the citizens of Louisville to prosper in their health. In the month of March of this year 2012

Dr. LaQuandra Nesbitt

gave a presentation on were Louisville health static is and where she and her staff will be working to move our health to in the further. She is Louisville’s Metro Public Health and Wellness director. However she and her staff

cannot do this on their own. They need our help to assist us in living a healthier life. You know what they say “you are what you eat.”

Dr. Nesbitt was introduced by Mayor Fischer

where she give her presentation at the Health Department on Gray Street.

Demographics-meaning the statistical characteristics of human population.

As you can see Louisville has some work to do so we can have a more joyful and healthier life. The better we feel the more joy we will have and the longer we will live.

Looking at the slide tells us that Louisville has the highest rate of death in the country. We need to make a turn-around in our life style so our number can drop.

So look at where you fall on the chart and see what you can change in your life style to help your group decrease in its death rate.

She held four communities meeting in March to see were each community stands in the area of health and to find out how she and her team can help Louisville as a whole.

Dr. Nesbitt and the city of Louisville will be working from this angel that this slide shows.

I want to thank Dr. Nesbitt and her staff for the hard work they are doing to help us live better.

It’s a wonderful thing to have friends and Ruby has many. She will be having her fourth child in a few week and had not planned on having any more children , so all of the baby things she had she had given to other people who needed them. Leaving her with no baby things for the baby that will be here in a few weeks.

However her friends and family gave her gifts for the new arrival. I want to thank all who helped her out! Take a look at some of the photos.

When you walk in the doors of Mi Lady’s you will meet these ladies, they will make you feel at ease. As many of you know I am a twenty five and a half year breast cancer servier, and it is important that you look good because this make you feel good. These ladies will help you achieve both of these goals. I was blessed by my family Doctor E. William who refers me to them.

They have been in business for thirty years. Family owned and operated by Nancy Brumley, CFm. Owner, Rose Hodges, CFm, Debbie Foley, CFm, Susan Ryan, CFm, and Tabitha Reynolds. They are located in the Medical Arts building at 1169 Easter Parkway in suite 2200 here in Louisville Kentucky. Easter! By Co Bishop S. Polk

Many for us celebrate Easter in Many ways; families get together and enjoy the day by being with each other. We go on Easter egg hunts, buy our kids new clothes, and give them a basket full of goodies.

Would Easter Change if we were not able to do these things with our kids or Grandkids? No Easter would still remain the same because it is not about new clothes, baskets or Easter Egg Hunts.

Easter Is about what God did for us in the obedience of His son Jesus. St. John 3:16 tells' us that “For God so loved the

world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

So Jesus paid the price for our sin when He went to the cross and died. Only staying in the grave for three days however He rose on the third day. John 20:11-18 tell us how Mary Magdalene goes to the grave site where they had placed the body of Jesus. While she is there weeping Jesus comes to her this let her know that the words Jesus told her and the others of him being resurrected was and is true.

So Easter will remain the same because it is about Jesus drying for the cross for our sin and rising back to life on the third day this will never change.

They have been in business since 1996 and went on Wheelz in 2004. She has given her time to the community by going to nursing homes, the home bound, and to U of L. She has given her time to the Red Carpet to help seniors, in High School who can’t afford to get the things they need for prome. She loves helping people.

Here is one of her clients I was able to meet Just as she was getting her hair done.
