The Rockbridge Hunt was established in 1947 just south of Lex-
ington. We offer a unique blend of excitement, pageantry, and
camaraderie. As Virginians have done for over 200 years, riders
of all ages and abilities mount their horses and follow our award-
winning hounds through some of the most beautiful territory in
the country. “The thrill of the chase” is our objective – foxes are
not hunted to kill, but rather to allow their escape for future en-
counters. Tailgating usually follows each hunt, giving everyone
time to enjoy the
company of fellow riders
and guests. The mem-
bers
of the Rockbridge Hunt
invite you to come and
ride and become part of
a Virginia tradition.
