for any loss, personal injury, or damage to horses exhibited, or for any article of any kind or nature that may be lost or
destroyed or in any way damaged. Each exhibitor will be responsible for any injury that may be occasioned to any person
or animal, or damage to any property while on the show grounds by any horse owned or exhibited by them, or damages of
any kind or nature, that may grow out of any injury occasioned by a horse owned or exhibited by them or, arise from the
negligence of the person in charge of any such horse.

Equine Activity Statement (EAS):
Section 773.02 of the Florida Statutes: Except as provided in F.S. 773.03, an equine activity sponsor, an equine professional, or any other person,
which shall include a corporation or partnership, shall not be liable for any injury to or death of, a
participant resulting from the inherent risk of equine activities and except as provided in F.S. 773.03, no
participant nor any participant’s representative shall have any claim against or recover from any equine
activity sponsor, equine professional, or any other person for injury, loss, damage, or death of the
participant resulting from any of the inherent risks of equine activities.

High Point All Around Sport Horse, $100.00 award (combined scores in Dressage, Sport Horse in-hand and Sport Horse under
saddle, only one score in each division will count), and High Score Dressage test $100.00 award, sponsored by Sonya and
William Osborne, Green Gate Farm, St. Michaels, Md.
NO Payback, will be paid in any performance class with less than 5 horses or performance championship classes with less than 3
horses. PRIZE MONEY will be awarded by check within 30 days of close of the show. Checks must be cashed within 60 days from
close of the show.
The show office will be closed two hours after the last Championship Class.
THERE WILL BE A RETURNED CHECK FEE OF $50.00 OR 10% OF THE AMOUNT OF THE
CHECK, WHICHEVER IS GREATER, FOR EACH FAILED DEPOSIT OF A RETURNED CHECK
USEF MEMBERSHIP STATEMENT LIFE, SENIOR ACTIVE AND JUNIOR ACTIVE MEMBERS SHALL BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL CLASSES AT REGULAR COMPETITIONS, EVENTING COMPETITIONS AT THE PRELIMINARY LEVEL OR ABOVE AND COMBINED DRIVING COMPETITIONS AT THE ADVANCED LEVEL, DRESSAGE,REINING AND VAULTING COMPETITIONS AND ENDURANCE RIDES. A NON-MEMBER MAY PARTICIPATE AS A HANDLER, RIDER, DRIVER, OWNER, LESSEE, AGENT, COACH OR TRAINER AT REGULAR COMPETITIONS, EVENTING COMPETITIONS, DRESSAGE COMPETITIONS, REINING COMPETITIONS AND COMBINED DRIVING COMPETITIONS UPON PAYMENT OF A $45 SHOW PASS FEE. PARTICIPANTS IN THE FOLLOWING CLASSES ARE EXEMPTED FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS RULE: 1) LEADLINE; 2) EXHIBITIONS; 3) GAMES AND RACES; 4) CLASSES FOR 4-H MEMBERS; 5) WALK TROT (EXCEPTION: FRIESIAN PERFORMANCE FR222) AND ACADEMY CLASSES (Academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF INTRODUCTORY LEVEL TESTS, PAS DE DEUX AND QUADRILLE CLASSES; 7) NRHA ENDORSED REINING COMPETITIONS; 8) OPPORTUNITY CLASSES: 9) CITIZENS OF OTHER NATIONS WHO HAVE PROOF, IN ENGLISH, OF CURRENT MEMBERSHIP IN GOOD STANDING OF THEIR OWN NATIONAL FEDERATION; 10) USEA BEGINNER NOVICE DIVISION; AND 11) ASSISTANT HANDLERS IN DRESSAGE SPORT HORSE BREEDING CLASSES.
USEF NUMBERS: Effective Dec. 1, 2002, USEF will also require all competing horses to have an identification (ID) number. This rule change (Article 811) was passed at the annual convention in January 2002 and becomes effective on Dec. 1, 2002. You will be required to supply a Horse ID number for each horse competing at a USEF recognized competition. The horse ID numbers are available free of charge and there will be no charges or penalties until Dec. 1, 2003---which is the beginning of the 2004 competition year. An agreement has been reached between USDF and USEF to share HID numbers, however, you must first acquire the number from USDF at a cost of $20 before the number can be shared by USEF. Horses not fully registered with USDF or USEF will not be eligible to participate in the ABIC/USDF Regional Championships. Not required for introductory classes only.

COST: Championship $55 Buy-A-Class Fee. Regular classes: $30 Buy-A-Class Fee. These Fees are in addition to regular class
fees. Other exhibitors may ride in the class for the normal/ regular class fees once a class has been “Bought.”
Requirements: You must pay for your Buy-A-Class when you “buy it.” Show Management retains the right of approval of each class.

CLASS SPECIFICATIONS
HALTER IN THE RING PROCEDURES
Enter at a trot to the right, circle at the first cone and continue to trot on the rail to the designated position. When
all horses have entered, they shall walk, collectively, counter clockwise and clockwise past the judge on a loose lead.
Horses will return to the line and, one at a time, be presented to the judge. After presentation, horses will return to
the line up and shall remain relaxed for placing.
LIBERTY FREESTYLE
Open to ARABIAN, Half ARABIAN and Anglo ARABIANS, two year old and older. To be judged on natural free
movement, type, presence, animation and carriage. Entry is at owner’s risk. Entry will have 90 seconds alone in the
ring; the horse will be turned loose to show liberty. When time is called, the horse has to be caught within two (2)
minutes or it will be disqualified. Two (2) handlers per horse. Aids Allowed: whips no longer than six (6) feet in
length. At no time, when showing, can the horse be touched by either the whip or handlers. Exhibitors are
responsible for their own music.
LEADLINE
Exhibitors shall be at least two (2) years old and have not reached their 7th birthday. To be led into the ring on the
rail at a walk. Attire may be of any discipline recognized by AHA. Refer to Article 1411-other disciplines. Awards
will be presented to all participants. Open to ARABIANS and Half ARABIANS/ Anglo ARABIANS. STALLIONS
ARE NOT ALLOWED.
OPEN VERSATILITY CLASS
This class is open to Purebred and Half ARABIANS. Horses are judged in halter, hunter pleasure and western
pleasure during the class. Changes of tack and attire will be made in the ring after each discipline. Each exhibitor
will be allowed two (2) helpers in the ring for each tack and clothing change. TEAM WORK!!!!!!! Have Fun. Show
your versatile ARABIANS.
WALK-TROT-JOG CLASSES
(See USEF Subsection AR-28) Open to riders 10 years old and under. As of January 1, 1995, a rider must never be
judged in a class at a Licensed Competition that required a canter or lope. No cross entries into any other classes
except halter and showmanship. Headers are permitted but not required. Appropriate attire to the riding discipline
is required. NO STALLIONS.
HUNTER PLEASURE, HUNTER EQUITATION, DRESSAGE AND SPORT HORSE UNDER SADDLE
CLASSES.
In Compliance with the 2009 Florida Statute, Section 773.06 “Helmet requirements; penalties…”
All minors 16 years of age or younger must wear ASTM safety headgear in any equine activity traditionally
utilizing such equipment, including jumping and dressage.
(This regulation applies to designated schooling and exercise areas as well as the show ring.)
STICK HORSE CLASS
Let’s have some fun!!! This class welcomes all stick horse breeds and colors. Participants (Young and Old) will
display their riding skills and their horse’s versatility. Participants may bring their own stick horse or rent one
from DGAHA’s stable of talented, well trained steeds for hire. Participants will be judged on walk, trot, canter and,
maybe, a hand gallop.
ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE RUFF OUT STICK HORSE CLASS WILL BE DONATED TO THE
HORSEMAN’S DISTRESS FUND AT THE END OF THE YEAR. DGAHA WILL ALSO DONATE AN
ADDITIONAL $500.00 TO THE CAUSE.
GENERAL RULES and REGULATIONS
1. Every class offered herein which is covered by the Rules and Specifications of the current USEF Rule Book will
be conducted and judged in accordance therewith. This show will be also run in conformance with the Code of
Ethics of AHA.
2. The show reserves the right to refuse entries conditionally, combine, divide or cancel classes and/or to change
scheduling as necessary, based on the number of entries. Final class schedules will be posted at the office.
3. No stalls will be reserved unless accompanied by payment in full and a show registration form with the horse’s, owner’s and
trainer’s information and at least one class entry. NO EXCEPTIONS.
4. Stalls are of wooden construction and full sized doors are provided. Bags of shavings are available at $8.00 per bag, and
must be preordered at the time of entry.
5. Stalls will be available from 12:00 Noon Thursday, November 1, 2018, and must be vacated no later than noon Monday,
November 5, 2018. Stall fees are not refundable. NO EARLY ARRIVAL WITHOUT CONSENT OF THE SHOW
MANAGER. DGAHA reserves the right to resell unused stalls.
6. ARENA is 100’ x 250’. Footing is 50% - 50% sand/clay mix.
7. Warm-up arenas, Upper Arena, and Lower arena, sand/clay mix.
8. A copy of registration papers, a negative coggins test dated within one year of the show and vaccination documentation of
the equine flu and rhino virus immunization dated within six months prior to the show (USEF GR845) must be included
with each horse’s entry form. Horses from out of state must additionally possess a health certificate dated within 30 days
from the end of the show.
9. Baker Area Recreation Center does not allow the use of motorized vehicles on the show grounds. (3 or 4 wheelers,
motorcycles, mini bikes, etc.)
10. CLASS CALLS: Due to unforeseeable problems with any mechanical device, the PA system and Paddock Calls over that
system must be considered a courtesy. Tack Holds of five minutes will only be provided if the paddock master is notified
in advance and has announced said hold. Tack holds will not be granted unless the exhibitor is in the preceding class or
that the preceding class has been cancelled. 11. Horses must have been entered, shown, and judged in qualifying classes to be eligible to show in championship classes.
First three class placements must enter the appropriate championship class or forfeit their winnings in that class. No horse
may enter multiple championship classes based on one qualifying class. However, if qualified, entries are not required to
show back in multiple championship classes.
12. All classes requiring an order-of-go must be entered prior to the end of the previous session.
13. No stallions in walk trot or lead line classes. Rider’s feet must reach stirrups.
14. No stallions may be handled by anyone under the age of sixteen in halter classes.
15. An open check on account will be required to obtain horse’s number by the exhibitor. The check will be held until Office
Check Out is complete, or the end of the show.
16. Refunds on all entry fees, with the exception of office and stall fees, will be made ONLY with a veterinary certificate or
physicians note received by the show secretary before the end of the show. NO refunds will be allowed if classes are
cancelled due to severe weather, natural disaster, or other emergencies. Pre-show refunds will be made ONLY if
accompanied by a veterinary certification or physicians note and received by October 21, 2018.
17. Adding or scratching classes must occur the session prior to the scheduled class. There will be no refunds for scratches or no
shows. If, however, another class is added at the same time of a scratched class for the same horse, the scratched class fee
will be applied to the added class.
18. Any protests must be filed in accordance with USEF rules.
19. ALL DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES. At no time will dogs be allowed in the arena with the exception
of dogs assisting the sight and hearing impaired.
20. Concession stand is on the grounds.
21. Professional services performed by the veterinarian on call, or Farrier outside the show ring shall be on a private fee basis.
22. The show office will open at noon on Thursday, November 1, 2018. Show Office hours will be posted on the show office
door. The show office will close two hours after the last class of the show.
23. Gate holds for all classes with no entries will be at the discretion of the show management.
24. Sharps containers will be placed conveniently in each barn.
25. Safety Helmets must be worn for all disciplines requiring such equipment (ie; Dressage, Sport Horse, Hunter Pleasure…)
26. Dressage/ Sport Horse entries must wear bridle numbers every time they are taken out of their stalls.
27. Sport Horse In-Hand to be shown on the Triangle (USEF AR176.2-4)
28. Arabian Sport Horse In-Hand Champion & Reserve Champion will be determined by using the two top scores from classes
52 through 65.
29. Half Arabian/ Anglo Arabian sport horse In-Hand Champion and Reserve Champion will be determined by using the top
scores from classes 66 through 80.
30. Emergency phone numbers, veterinarian on-call availability and barn maps will be posted at each barn and the show office.
ATTENTION CART, SCOOTER, etc, OPERATORS
USEF GR901.29 states: Minors who do not have a valid driver’s license which allows them to operate a
motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any
kind, including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, or farm utility vehicles, on the competition
grounds of licensed competitions. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the above described
motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver’s license. The parent(s),
legal guardian(s), or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating a
motorized vehicle in violation of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions
resulting from that operation. Violations of this rule will be cause for sanctions against the parent(s),
guardian(s) and/or trainer(s) who are responsible for the child committing the offense. Penalties may include
exclusion of the child, parent(s), guardian(s), and/or trainer(s) from the competition grounds for the remainder of
the competition and charges being filed against any of the above individuals in accordance with chapter 6.
Wheelchair and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule.

I AGREE to indemnify and hold harmless (that is pay all losses, damages, attorney’s fees and costs of) the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, demands, penalties, actions, losses, costs, damages, injuries, liabilities and obligations (including attorney’s fees) of whatsoever kind and nature, which may be asserted against or incurred by any of them as a result of (1) my participation in the Competition or (2) any act, failure to act, or neglect (a) by me, my agents, employees, riders, handlers, trainers, coaches, drivers, contractors or invitees, or (b) by any animal owned or exhibited by me or in my custody or control. I AGREE and represent that I am qualified and eligible to enter and/or participate in the Competition, and every horse I am entering is qualified and eligible as entered. I AGREE to accept AS FINAL any decision of AHA, the Show Commission or Show Officials concerning my qualification or the qualification of my horse to enter the Competition or any results of the Competition, except to the extent that the Rules of AHA, the Competition, CEF or USA Equestrian permit a protest or hearing of such decisions. Should a hearing be requested, I agree to accept AS FINAL the decision of the particular hearing body. I agree to release, hold harmless and not to sue AHA, the Competition Sponsor, their officers, directors, employees, volunteers or members concerning any decision of AHA, the Competition, its Show Commission, Show Officials or any hearing body that relates to my qualifications or my horse(s)’ qualifications to enter the Competition or any results of the Competition. I AGREE that AHA has the sole right to control, sell, supervise or give away (or assign to others the right to do so) the exclusive rights to broadcast, televise, reproduce, transmit and disseminate all or part of this event, and I agree that AHA may use or assign, in any way AHA sees fit, photographs, films, videos, audios, cablecasts, or other likenesses of me and my horse taken during the course of the Competition for the promotion, coverage or benefit of the Competition or AHA. Those likenesses shall not be used to advertise a product and they may not be used in such a way which implies endorsement of any company, product, product category or service. I hereby expressly and irrevocably waive and release any rights in connection with such use, including any claim to compensation, invasion of privacy, right of publicity, or to misappropriation. By signing below as a parent or guardian of a junior exhibitor, I consent to the child’s participation and agree to all of the above provisions, and further agree to assume all of the obligations of this AHA Assumption of Risk, Release and Indemnification personally and on behalf of the child. This AHA Assumption of Risk, Release and Indemnification is governed by the Laws of the State of Colorado and is intended to be interpreted as broadly as possible. I agree that exclusive jurisdiction and venue (place) for any legal action against AHA, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers or agents shall be in the local district courts or the federal court of the State of Colorado. If any part of this agreement is determined to be unenforceable, all other parts shall remain effect.
Federation Entry Agreement By entering a Federation-licensed Competition and signing this entry blank as the Owner, Lessee, Trainer, Manager, Agent, Coach, Driver, Rider, Handler, Vaulter or Longeur and on behalf of myself and my principals, representatives, employees and agents, I agree that I am subject to the Bylaws and Rules of The United States Equestrian Federation, Inc. (the “Federation”) and the local rules of this Competition. I agree to be bound by the Bylaws and Rules of the Federation and of the competition. I will accept as final the decision of the Hearing Committee on any question arising under the Rules, and agree to release and hold harmless the competition, the Federation, their officials, directors and employees for any action taken under the Rules. I represent that I am eligible to enter and/or participate under the Rules, and every horse I am entering is eligible as entered. I also agree that as a condition of and in consideration of acceptance of entry, the Federation and/or the Competition may use or assign photographs, videos, audios, cable - casts, broadcasts, internet, film, new media or other likenesses of me and my horse taken during the course of the competition for the promotion, coverage or benefit of the competition, sport, or the Federation. Those likenesses shall not be used to advertise a product and they may not be used in such a way as to jeopardize amateur status. I hereby expressly and irrevocably waive and release any rights in connection with such use, including any claim to compensation, invasion of privacy, right of publicity, or to misappropriation. The construction and application of Federation rules are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any action instituted against the Federation must be filed in New York State. See GR908.4. I AGREE in consideration for my participation in this Competition to the following: I AGREE that the “Federation” and “Competition” as used herein includes the Licensee and Competition Management, as well as all of their officials, officers, directors, employees, agents, personnel, volunteers and Federation affiliates. I AGREE that I choose to participate voluntarily in the Competition with my horse, as a rider, driver, handler, vaulter, longeur, lessee, owner, agent, coach, trainer, or as parent or guardian of a junior exhibitor. I am fully aware and acknowledge that horse sports and the Competition involve inherent dangerous risks of accident, loss, and serious bodily injury including broken bones, head injuries, trauma, pain, suffering, or death. (“Harm”). I AGREE to hold harmless and release the Federation and the Competition from all claims for money damages or otherwise for any Harm to me or my horse and for any Harm of any nature caused by me or my horse to others, even if the Harm arises or results, directly or indirectly, from the negligence of the Federation or the Competition. I AGREE to expressly assume all risks of Harm to me or my horse, including Harm resulting from the negligence of the Federation or the Competition. I AGREE to indemnify (that is, to pay any losses, damages, or costs incurred by) the Federation and the Competition and to hold them harmless with respect to claims for Harm to me or my horse, and for claims made by others for any Harm caused by me or my horse while at the Competition. I have read the Federation Rules about protective equipment, including GR801 and, if applicable, EV114, and I understand that I am entitled to wear protective equipment without penalty, and I acknowledge that the Federation strongly encourages me to do so while WARNING that no protective equipment can guard against all injuries. If I am a parent or guardian of a junior exhibitor, I consent to the child’s participation and AGREE to all of the above provisions and AGREE to assume all of the obligations of this Release on the child’s behalf I represent that I have the requisite training, coaching and abilities to safely compete in this competition. I AGREE that if I am injured at this competition, the medical personnel treating my injuries may provide information on my injury and treatment to the Federation on the official USEF accident/injury report form.
BY SIGNING BELOW, I AGREE to be bound by all applicable Federation Rules and all terms and provisions of this entry blank and all terms and provisions of this Prize List.
