Chinese Angelica RootAngelicae sinensis radix
Chinese Angelica is the dried root of Angelica sinensis (Oliv.) Diels (Fam.Umbelliferae). The drug is collected in late autumn, removed from rootlet andsoil, slightly dried and tied up in small bundles, placed on a shelf and smokedried.
Content: not less than 0.05 per cent of trans-ferulic acid (C1OH1004• Mr 194.184),calculated with reference to the dried drug.
