The INDI-STRUCT Range has been specifically designed to offer

you a complete furniture solution for all different aspects of

challenging behaviour.

For a number of years our in-house development team have been

working with various clients and experts, across a wide spectrum of

the care and secure sectors, helping to create furniture designs that

will aid with the support and safety of their varied residents’ needs.

By doing this we have gained a vast experience and knowledge in

understanding the necessary key point design features that are

essential to allow us to produce furniture items which offer extreme

durability along with excellent quality and value for money, while

still maintaining a warm homely look and feel without looking

harsh and institutional.

The INDI-STRUCT Range has been tested and maintains certificates

for Strength and Stability to BS4875 Parts 7 & 8 (2006) Test Level 5 –

severe contract furniture.

Within our INDI-STRUCT Range we offer everything from Beds,

Bedroom Cabinets, Lounge/Living Units, with Secure TV Cabinets, to

High Dependency Secure Furniture Solutions, however if you have

The INDI-STRUCT Drawer System hasby far the strongest drawers available onthe current market. The drawer box andbase is made from 18mm thick melaminefaced MDF which is then mounted onextremely heavy duty steel roller runnersrated to 100kg. These drawers are fixedso they cannot be removed without theaid of security tooling.

All bedroom units have cut-out handlesas standard whereas the living rangeitems are all fitted with the finger pulldesign handle which is secured using anti-tamper fixings.

The tops of all units are made from 25mm thickmelamine faced MDF with soft rounded cornersand smooth profiled edges.

Scratch resistant polycarbonate panels are usedin all viewing products.

Units have solid 18mm melamine faced MDFbacks, these are stepped in at the back whenfitted to allow the unit ends to be scribedneatly to the wall.

Retro fitting sloping tops are available for thewardrobes to try to prevent climbing.

The wardrobes do not have any hanging rails,to try to reduce obvious ligature points, insteadthey have a fluted shelf which allows thehanger to sit in to it.

Our Secure Living TV units are made to house a moderntelevision, DVD players and games stations. These items can be locked safely away from risk of abuse without reducingviewing quality.

Each unit is fitted with its framed 6mm thick scratch resistantpolycarbonate viewing panel. Polycarbonate is rated to be upto 200 times stronger than its equivalent in glass.

Available in 3 different cabinet sizes which will house mostmodern-day TVs .

The INDI-STRUCT Bedroom Rangewill meet the demands of mostchallenging environments while itsdesign and finish will help to allowyou to create the homely feel that isso important for a resident’s care and rehabilitation.

The unit options available will allowyou to maximise storage facilitieswithout overcrowding the room.

There are 3 different hinge optionsavailable on the wardrobesdepending upon your requirementsthese include standard 270 degreehinges, piano/strip hinges and ourextremely heavy duty INDI270hinges which is a strip hinge thatallows the doors to open 270 degrees.

All of the units have scooped outhandles as standard and whereverpossible all corners and edges havebeen rounded and smoothed off toreduce obvious risks of injury. All ofthe units have 18mm thick solid backs which will allow them to bewall secured very easily without theneed for extra brackets or ties.

To try to help to reduce climbingthere is the option of a sloping top section, this can easily be retrofitted to a wardrobe even after the wardrobe has been installed andwall fixed.French WalnutOakBeech

The INDI-ROBE and INDI-GENTS are fittedas standard with semi concealed 270 degreeopening all metal hinges, 3 per door onwardrobes and 2 per door on gents robes.

The anti ligature wardrobes are designed totry to minimise obvious ligature risks whilemaintaining the simple smooth design.

Some of the features included are thesloping doors, and heavy duty piano/striphinges which are fitted using anti tamperscrews and an anti-ligature clothes shelfwith groove to allow the use of a cardboardhanger, cut-out handles and soft roundedcorners on the tops of all units.

The INDI 270 wardrobes, have all of thestandard design features of the antiligature wardrobe but with the addedbenefit of having fitted to them theextremely heavy duty strip hinges that aremade especially for us. These hinges have allof the advantages of a standard strip hingebut they allow the door to be opened back270 degrees and fold flat against thewardrobe end, which greatly increases theresistance to abuse. The hinge is fixed to thedoor using anti-tamper screws which arefastened into the edge and face of the dooras well as the edge and face of thewardrobe end.

Available in 3ft & 4ft widths, all beds take a standard 6ft 3in longmattress, 18mm Melamine faced MDF with internal reinforcing liningsand smooth rounded corners to the head and foot boards. The bedalso has a fully secured bottom panel to eliminate all potentialconcealment areas. This bed can also be fixed to the floor if required.The bed is delivered in two sections which are then easily fastenedtogether - this is done to ease installation.

Anti-Vandal Mattress

The metal skid bed with three sided frame (headboard sold separately).

This is delivered completely assembled and ready to use. It has a weldedmesh mattress platform with metal cross supports to give addeddurability and strength.
