The Observations

The location I have chosen is significant for a number of reasons. Firstly the area is an often used walkway for a strip mall, allowing for a lot of foot traffic to pass in front of the ad. This is good, given the fact that the ad will take more than an instant to read. Secondly, the wall itself is situated right next to a hobby shop, where a large number of kids and teenagers pass through. A weekly Pokémon league meets over the weekend in the establishment as well, and as a result, I feel as though the Pokémon I've placed in the ad itself will draw their attention.

The Reasoning

I've chosen to appeal to the viewer with humor. I put two very recognizable images in the ad, the first being the three Pokémon images, and the second being the very recognizable "demotivational poster" image template. This will hopefully catch the eye of kids and younger teenagers. My hope is that this will draw people's attention on a superficial level, and that they will be drawn to read the remaining text, which has been split into several smaller chunks to make it easier to digest.
