about the change agility seminarOrganisations everywhere are facing a future characterised by unprecedented
change and complexity. Those who successfully navigate their way through the
associated challenges will be the ones who enlist, engage and energise their
people on the journey.
This applies to everyone, from boardroom to shop floor.
The Change Agility Seminar brings together break-through thinking about leading in
turbulent times with tips for applying that thinking in organisations.
It focuses on how individuals differ in their approach to change and how the brain
itself governs the way people instinctively respond to the new and different.
You will become part of the conversation by having the opportunity to connect with
like-minded professionals to explore practical solutions to the challenges of
change.

Session one: Change leadership
Leaders facing major change know they need a
good implementation plan and the coordinated effort
of people to make things happen.
Yet, pulling this off is tough. Up to 70 percent of
change initiatives fail to meet expectations. In this
session, we look at the reasons why.
Session two: Change agility
Change agility is a component of learning agility, a
capability that enables people to thrive in new and
unfamiliar situations.
During this session, we will explore the characteristics
of change agility and you will assess your personal
orientation to change.
Session three: The brain and change
Developments in the field of neuroscience are
accelerating our understanding of the functioning of
the human brain and why change can be so difficult.
Change tactics based on incentives or threats are
unlikely to succeed. This session looks at a
framework for successful change.
Session four: Change agile leaders
Curiosity, readiness to challenge the status quo and
the drive for continuous improvement are key
characteristics of agile leaders.
People can and do develop change agility. This
session explores the deliberate practices that enable
this to happen.

the program
The Change Agility Seminar for HR leaders is a one-day
program delivered in four sessions.
Each session has a specific theme drawing on contemporary
research related to the ability of individuals and organisations
to lead and manage change.
We recognise that in today’s business environment the human
resource function is under greater pressure than ever before to deliver a responsive, flexible and adaptable organisation.
We will take you through an interactive day of learning, and you
will come away with practical and useful ideas and solutions
for some of your most pressing leadership issues.
resourcesAt the Change Agility Seminar you will complete a self
assessment to measure your orientation to change, using one
of the tools from Lominger’s new Learning Agility Architect®.
You will receive a copy of the latest edition of the FYI for
Learning Agility™, an excellent resource for developing
yourself and others in the key components of change agility.
leadersYour program leaders are Hilary Sayers and Sharon Bragg.
Hilary and Sharon are highly experienced consultants who
have worked with many diverse organisations to enhance and
sustain performance in times of change.
Between them, they have experienced organisational change
from every angle and have come to the conclusion that we
need to think about change differently - that it’s time for a new
model.
They are excited to share insights from recent research in the fields of leadership and neuroscience that shed light on what it
takes to succeed in leading change.
“Every time you are tempted to react in
the same old way, ask if you want to be
a prisoner of the past or a pioneer of
the future.”
